The Maid's Diary Novels & Stories

' Closing his eyes for a little while he tried to recall those words he read in the papers containing that information about his people. The maid is someone who has a ruined family. She is working for Oliver to gain money to give it to her mother and a father who is bedridden. She needs money for their expenses in their small and humble house. 'Her action seems to be something that is weird. She asked me awhile ago where will I go. Does she have any connection about those thieves?' Slowly turning his gaze to the gardener, everyone is looking down. That is why Oliver can assure that none of them can see what he is doing.

I hadn’t laughed in weeks. We left the maids’ quarters and made our way back to my room. The silence between us was calm but heavy with thoughts. I couldn’t stop glancing down at the diary in my hands. When we finally reached my room, I lit a small candle and placed it on the table. The flame flickered weakly, throwing shadows across the walls. Faith hovered near the window, her expression thoughtful. I sat on the bed and opened the diary. The first few pages were filled with Rose’s neat handwriting. Her words were simple but full of emotion—worries about work, little joys she had with the other maids, and her quiet admiration for someone she never named.

~Emma~ "So, what did you find out in the diary?" he asked, looking at the diary I'm holding in my hand. "Not much," I said with a sigh. "Um, your mother told me that Josephine told one of the maids that she met a handsome guy in the city. May I know the maid's name? Where is she now? Is she still working in the mansion?" I asked. "Ah, the maid. She is no longer working at our house. She left a few months ago and I don't know where she is right now. She is probably out there working in another household in another city," he replied, avoiding my gaze.

Hayden roared at the maid angrily. She started shaking in fear. The maid nodded her head. With tears in her eyes, she ran in the direction of Dabria's bedroom. Shaking in fear for her future, the maid turned the knob and opened the door. She stepped into the bedroom and slowly walked into the room. Her eyes widened as her eyes went towards the bed. The maid screamed on top of her lungs as she witnessed something that was near to impossible. "What are you doing inside my bedroom? Get out, NOW!" The maid heard Dabria yelling at the maid. She ran out of Dabria's bedroom and Dabria locked the door.

I went to the living room and sat on my long cushion facing the TV. I was using my phone and didn't concentrate on the TV at all. I was frightened when my door opened suddenly. I looked over and saw a maid lying face down. Me: jeez She sat up and rubbed her head then looked around Maid : whoahh, so Blue. I love it Me: excuse me I guess she didn't see me there cause she got startled, screamed and crawled back on her butt.

Her eyes were sharp, deep, and far too intelligent for someone scrubbing floors. Stop it, Mateo told himself, shaking his head to clear the thought. He took a sip of the bitter black coffee. She is just a maid. He had only carried her to the guest room because Diego was acting like a total animal and ruining the family name. Mateo was a prideful man, a billionaire heir who lived in a completely different world. He was just being decent. He had to keep his mind focused on the business and the mystery dancer from the club, not a servant in his own house.

I just walked in. He was at his desk, headphones on, but he turned as I entered. His eyes narrowed at the look on my face. “You need to see this,” I said, pulling out the diary. “You are not going to believe this… There’s so much in here.” I didn’t wait for an invitation. I sat on the edge of his bed and started reading out loud. I read about her being a maid. I read about her using him as a “key.” His expression went from bored, to shocked, to a dark, stormy blankness.
