Chapter 16 The grand banquet hall buzzed with anticipation as guests from around the world mingled and exchanged pleasantries. The opulent interior of the hall was a sight to behold, with towering pillars and vaulted ceilings adorned with intricate carvings and gilded accents. Crystal chandeliers hung from above, casting a warm, golden glow over the scene below. Tables draped in crisp white linens stretched as far as the eye could see, each adorned with sparkling silverware and delicate floral centerpieces. Waitstaff moved gracefully between the tables, serving up a decadent array of gourmet dishes that tantalized the senses.

To start the dinner, all took seats in the beautiful dining room of Wyatt’s mansion. The spacious room has a large mahogany rectangular dining table topped with a charming chandelier that hangs from the white ceiling. It is a room fit for royalty with stylish modern glam style, as the custom black and white floor matched the dark gray walls. No doubt that the owner of the mansion is the chairman of the largest building corporation in the world and a multi-billionaire at a time only a few existed.

POV Amy The mansion looked almost unrecognizable. I, personally supervised every detail, from the blue and white floral arrangements, Megan’s favorite colors, to the soft lighting that transformed my father’s mansion from a formal environment into something magical and welcoming. Megan’s birthday banquet began right on time. Guests arrived in waves, one after another, representing the high society of New York. From my vantage point on the second floor, before coming down, I watched everything unfold. The guests arrived and stood awed by the event I had prepared myself.

With one last glance in the mirror, I straightened my back and stepped out of the room, ready to face whatever the night had in store. When I arrived, the banquet was in full swing. The servants backed away, making a passage for them to pass. The mansion steward and the Seanfords passed, then the other servants followed. They passed the main entrance to the mansion and Dylan looked around. The place where they had entered looked similar to the great hall of a castle, on the top floor there were numerous compartments that looked like bedchambers. They all went towards the banquet hall. The mansion's steward stopped at the foot of a door, "Please your highness!" he introduced the entrance with his hand. Archie nodded and walked through the door. Then Dylan went through the door and stood beside his husband.
