The normally impenetrable mask shattered like glass under the onslaught of my powerful blow, revealing nothing beneath - faceless. He crumbled to his knees, an ethereal apparition, his countenance veiled in every darkness. As he fell limp to the floor, I felt a fleeting sensation of victory, realizing the key to our liberation – the masks. "It's the mask." I breathed. "Their weakness is in their mask." then I strode toward the second man in front of Simon. With renewed vigor, my friends and I lashed at the remaining assailants, aiming for their cursed masks. Each strike of my claws shattered them into oblivion, releasing the men beneath from their silent torment.

Even as Yoshitaka turned in shock, he found the dozenish armor-clad figures storming inside, their faces covered in masks, and each of them carrying katanas! The samurai masks were utterly horrific, each being sculpted into the faces of demons, their eyes glaring and glowering furiously while their fangs protruded from their jaws—the very sight of them intimidating.

he demanded, his voice low and menacing. The Head General Ybarra stood tall like a sentinel, his sword unsheathed and gleaming silver in the moonlight. As he confronted the mysterious woman before him, he couldn't see her face beneath the black warrior mask, but he could sense the smirk behind it. It sent shivers down his spine, but he stood firm, unfazed by her dark and cold presence. "I am the Mask Princess," she announced coldly, her sword shining bright as she raised it to his neck. He was taken aback when she revealed that she was no man, but he quickly regained his composure and informed her that she had no proper authorization to be there.

Inhuman. Not the same body. Not the same build. But the same mask. A second masked man.

He sighed and brushed his hand in his hair the other hand resting in his pocket and he stopped smiling and said in a deep voice, “Seeing you now is risking my life, you know my first name and for the first time I am not afraid to take such a step.” He turned to me and this time he looked straight in my eyes and he continues, “I will try and come back here to see you. But if I can’t and you can recognize me without my mask when we meet once again, then I won’t hesitate to be yours forever. This I promise.”

She breathed heavily as they both sweat heavily. Keisha grabbed his mask and pulled it out of his face, making him let go of the gun. He grabbed her hand and pulled it to make the mask cover his face. Her brows raised, realizing she can take this to her advantage. She leaned forward and bit his hand. "Fuck!" he screamed before his grip loosened on her hand but she let go of his mask.

"My apologies, Mr. Bodeen. Just escorting our next guest." A tall man in dark suit stepped into view behind Dominic. Wearing an Aurelian Group security uniform. My blood turned to ice. The guard's eyes swept the room, casual at first, then landed on me his brow furrowed, and I watched him tilt his head slightly like he was trying to place something familiar. Nick's hand was still wrapped around my wrist. The security guard's gaze dropped to where we were connected, then back up to my masked face. I saw it happen. Saw the exact moment recognition started to dawn in his eyes.

The masked man looked down at Santos while waiting for his answer. “Who are you?” Santos lifted his head to look at the masked man who appeared out of nowhere as he asked calmly. Even though he looked calm on the surface, a huge wave was crashing against his heart. ‘Who is this? When did he appear? ‘Why didn’t I notice?’ One had to know that Santos was a peak mid-Infinity Ranker, so how would he not notice if a stranger approached him out of nowhere?
