Alexandria's POV Many Many Moons ago I am sitting in my office with Hubert Hades sat opposite me. his hair is glowing like a blue flame. I sigh deeply as I read a note which had been brought to me from a friend I met when I was a child. She is a Mermaid and has just contacted me to inform me that she has just become the Queen of Atlantis.

shouted Helena to the open sea. She was like a madwoman screaming to herself. No answer. She looked down, the beautiful blue sea with colorful fish. Dimly she heard a humming sound, something foreign to her ears but pleasant and melodious; siren sound. Siren Aquamarine, the mermaid of the Caribbean sea who always tempts pirates and fishermen. They suck every soul that is subject to their beauty. Beautiful but deadly.

They were the weakest of the shifters, having to return to the water every night as their body forces them to shift into their mermaid form. I already knew what Marques wanted. When the water reaches my chest I change back to my original form. Mer-people don't actually have anything covering their chest unless they put something on themselves and when they change from human to mermaid the clothes they wear disappear anyways. I left my top in my apartment so I'm currently topless but I don't plan on showing myself to anyone so it's fine.

Before I could say anything, she continued her scenario. "It doesn't take long at all before the dark mouth of a cave comes into view at the side of the river. Without hesitating, the mermaid swims you inside. In the pitch blackness, you're unable to make anything out as she continues forward before eventually coming to a stop. Their hushed whispers drifted in, every word cutting deep into my ears. “Isolde’s cursed puppet craft is dreadfully perilous. She hunted and drained countless lesser merfolk for pearl curse powder, merely to gather enough ritual materials.” “Indeed. Once the puppet is complete, it will crush all rebels within the vampire clan, and drain this mermaid’s last breath entirely.
