The moment my boots hit the frozen dirt, a concussive wave of crystalline silver light burst outward in a thirty-foot radius. The front ranks of the Blood Moon vanguard skidded to a halt, absolute terror flashing across their faces as the radiant, blinding light illuminated the grey morning fog. Cassian froze, his jaw dropping as he spotted us standing alone in the center of the pass, completely unsupported by an army—just a King and a Queen holding the mouth of a kingdom. "Kill them!" She followed the direction of his eyes and saw a beautiful full moon shining in the dark sky, the night itself was the definition of beauty and peace, she admired the moon thinking how close they are to each other and nothing can create distance between them... She turned her face towards him gazing at him in astonishment... "Why ?" Her voice came out as whisper... He was already looking at her, admiring her features in the moonlight...

It was only a matter of time before I began to shiver. Letting my gaze wander, I tried to admire the beautiful sight before me. The moon was full, casting a silver glow over the gardens, and the stars twinkled like diamonds in the sky. The sadness in my heart ebbed away, replaced with lightness. "Tonight is a beautiful night," I murmured after a while.
