Yesterday we jumped from the cliff; thankfully, the parachute opened on time. We are in the mountains, spending our vacation in a cosy cottage. It's monsoon; windows are displayed with fog and dark green forest. It's romantic. We were fucking like bunnies for the last two days. She is curled under the bedsheets, totally engulfed in reading a novel. Her coffee is getting cold beside the window. "I searched about this book; I know what happens in the end." I slid beside her under the bedsheet. "No!" She whined.

Perhaps he felt Zephyr’s attention, as he spoke, his expression changed somewhat, akin to shock, though he made no comment on it. The peak they went to was tall. Under the guidance of the three, everyone soon found themselves at the peak of the mountain. To everyone’s surprise, a metal suspension bridge hung from the mountain peak. Zephyr and Yang said nothing as they looked out into the distance. Fortunately, they had good perception as they managed to see a group of people that stood far on the other side of the bridge.

“Thank you again for everything you’re doing. It’s clear my grandmother is in good hands.” After he disappeared down the hallway, Anne stood in the entrance with Jeff, both of them maintaining careful distance from each other. The moment felt charged with something unspoken, with the awareness that they’d just crossed a threshold they couldn’t uncross. Mike had arrived, and the household dynamics had shifted in ways they were only beginning to understand.

Gabby is already out on the ice, gliding across it like she was born there. She waves at us before attempting a jump, landing a little off‑balance but grinning like she just won gold. I smile despite myself.

he said questioningly, his eyebrows rose high at me. "Yeah," I chuckled "I mean I guess...." "Ah, I see...." "Wanna get something to drink?" I asked him. "Sure" he replied. We walked over to Jeremy's table side by side and asked for alcohol. We got a cup each before standing around and drinking it silently, our eyes fixed on the shimmering valley under the bright moonlight. "So you come here very often" Hardin breaks the silence.

I stopped dead. “You’re interrupting my movie”, “Be careful, you’re losing your cold self”, I pulled the blanket over us. “Being super nice”, I snuggled into him, resting my head on his chest “That’s what friends are for”, he whispered. But were we really friends? Or were we just ignoring the skeleton in the room? This feeling, this attraction pulling us together. I knew we both felt it, the energy surging through us. Friends. The word tasted sour in my mouth. We could try at being friends and nothing more.

The man was on purpose; he must have planned all of this with Aamber, so that Clarissa would not be able to move anymore. They left the island at noon. After landing on the Island of the Gods, Bali, they continued by plane to return home. “You must be happy.” Aaron grabbed Laurel's hand who was sitting next to him, smiling mischievously. She looked at him and laughed. “You are very cunning, Aaron Silverwhite.” Aaron laughed along with her and kissed her forehead affectionately.

After a while, when she reached the end of her presentation, she realised it wasn't that scary after all. Yes, she was practically shaking but no one made fun of her. She realised that they all had to do a presentation at the end of the day. They must've felt just as intimidated! "Well done Jenna!" Miss Close admired as everyone in the class applauded.
