The hierarchy went from the Alpha and his family to the beta of the pack, powerful sentinels, Deltas, and of course the elders. What however stood in front of me was a giant twin oak door that looked sturdy. I rubbed my finger against the smoothened wood and by the goddess, it felt thick. I doubted a single soul would hear me even knock. I didn't let the thought drag me down however. The new gate was probably erected as a better means of protection. I knocked on the door. A task that hurt my hands and eventually a part of the door flicked open. I was immediately met by cornflower blue orbs and a menacing stare.

Elliot was about to say something when something else got his tongue. Lexa noticed he froze and turned to what he was looking at. It was THE GATE. It was an abandoned golden gate with seaweeds covering most of it and brown moss aided the seaweeds in doing so. The gate stood tall and the gaps between the poles was enough for a child suffering from muscle atrophy to fit in.

Silence enveloped them as they crossed the academy grounds. The core pulsed steadily in Kael's pocket, unaffected by the previous day's suppression attempt. Dungeon Gate 3 was located at the western edge of the grounds, close to the old quarry. It was smaller than Gate 1. The design is for regulated activities instead of extensive reconnaissance, and the hum from the gate felt sharper and more contained. A Foundation team of six in grey was already there, three with instrument cases, two with sealed containment kits, and a supervisor monitoring the gate diagnostics with concentration.

"You like it?" Jace asked." I shrugged. "I don't know. I'll have to get inside first." I said. The gate electronically opened and Greg drove in. Every single thing was a masterpiece, from the artificial fountain to the lawn and.... Everything. My oh my. Finally Greg parked his car in the garage and when I got out u realised that it wasn't the only car there. I'm going to count that later.
