The club welcomed us in a rush of light and sound, the doors opening to a world that felt deliberately removed from the day I was trying to forget. Ninette's POV The Riverside Hotel became my prison. Three weeks of racking up charges on my credit card I couldn't afford, because going back to the apartment felt impossible.
