I heard lions-” “Mhm.” Ana hummed asleep.

--- That Night The moon hung high and full, its light a ghostly silver as Aria rode through the ancient forest toward the ruins of the Eclipse Temple. The shadows stretched long, whispering secrets through the leaves. Nia rode beside her, stoic and watchful, with three elite warriors flanking their path. The ruins appeared as a circle of broken pillars wrapped in ivy, the remnants of a temple that had not been touched in centuries.
