Sunbringer

The others gradually fell asleep with the comforting blue glow of the tree shining above them. The next morning Jon and Shieena made breakfast. Shieena quietly asked Nio if he was okay, and he just smiled and nodded. After the meal, they started a new round of conversation. Nio apologized for the fear he had caused them. There were pats on the back, smiles and even a bit of laughter as they tried to leave last night’s events behind. The conversation turned to the tree that towered over them, but Nio didn't know how to explain it. He managed to throw the raw magic into the lake and tried to break the synergy by turning it into water, but things didn’t go according to plan. He was in the dark

The Divine Tree's Blessing

The Divine Tree's Blessing

I rolled my eyes and retorted, "You're a shriveled up, old hag now, so it makes sense that you don't understand what a privilege it is to serve the divine tree. I'll definitely satisfy it. You agree with me, don't you, Mr. Holton?" Isaac nodded vigorously. Using the saplings around us as cover, he ran his greasy hand along my thigh. The woman's face turned a ruddy red when she realized that she couldn't win the argument against me. She lowered her head and continued working. I scoffed. Joy bubbled in my heart when I thought of all the rumors about the divine tree. Our village was located in the east of a massive mountain. A forest stood in the mountain. The trees were so tall that they disap

Lockers Orphanage

Lockers Orphanage

"Look. There's a hole in that tree. Maybe we should go near it to check if this piece of wood fits inside that hole." Without hesitation, Nowo followed him. After reaching the tree, they started putting the missing piece inside the hole. A strong range of light almost blinded them and caused them to lose their sight for a short period. "Welcome, defenders," they heard an unfamiliar voice. The big tree revealed its real appearance with a pair of eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Although unfamiliar, the king had warned them to expect the unexpected during their mission. "We are here to answer your riddle," Moha uttered.

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

The environment changes, but he doesn't, he's ever lasting. Everyone, in his race, is the same. Some call them gods, while some, warriors of old. Whatever they are, in most recorded cases they helped people in their time of need. They aren't much different from us; expect that their bodies are made from wood. His gaze wonders from tree to tree. His green eyes look like two small buttons on his large head that was mostly covered with moss. “For too long, have you destroyed my forest,” his words echoed thorough the oak forest. “We gave part of it, you want more. I shall give you more.”

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

It, then, would end with her head rolling on the ground. Not far from the Main Center, Z found an enchanted tree. Its surroundings were illuminated by fireflies. It has a full view of the bright full moon smiling beside itself, accompanied by thousands of stars that were blinking relentlessly. The tree was standing on a cliff. It has a broken branch were twinkling, green leaves rest. It looked comfy from where she stood. Moments later, she’s already lying on its root. As expected, it was so comfortable to the point she instantly fell asleep, indifferent to the fact that she hadn’t eaten yet.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

In the Grip of king Roderick

In the Grip of king Roderick

With each step, her anticipation grew as she approached the magnificent tree standing near the serene lake. The tree stood tall and welcoming, its branches reaching out as if beckoning Senthaiz closer. Its leaves rustled softly in the gentle breeze, whispering tales of the past and promising solace in the present. Its gnarled trunk, adorned with moss and intricate patterns, seemed to hold the wisdom of ages. Senthaiz's heart swelled with a mix of excitement and nostalgia as she neared the tree. The diary clutched tightly in her hands, she felt a surge of anticipation, knowing that this tranquil spot would be the perfect place to pour her thoughts onto the pages.

The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

Then she looked at the Czarevna again, realizing that she would have to face her father eventually, and Cassandra couldn't imagine how the princess must have felt. ~*~ The Old Tree was an imposing sight. It stood in the middle of the marshes with its branches stretched out, blocking the sky. Its trunk spread over the ground like a giant hand holding down the earth. One would have mistaken it for a tower from a distance. But that wasn't the most intriguing part about the majestic tree. Cassandra could hear the faint musical sounds from the rattling leaves, and the fibers of the vines glowed with tiny particles of light. Over the surface of the water, it looked like the tree was upside down.

Stealing My Best Friend's Alpha

Stealing My Best Friend's Alpha

Chapter 43 The atmosphere was as clear as crisp snow upon a glacier. The peace in the air could be smelled and felt through every fiber of my bones. It was a perfect utopia. Even the sky appeared brighter than normal, blending into the endless land stretching into a distance of nothingness, yet somehow, everything felt perfect. Just like the One Tree itself. Tall, overflowing with roots and knowledge, it looked as though it had existed since the dawn of time. "What have you come for, Alex?" the One Tree asked, and I stepped forward, exhaling sharply.

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

Every life a story. Nova stared in awe. The tree radiated warmth. Peace. Sorrow. Love. The emotions washed through existence like waves. The Graveyard's voice softened. This is the Last Tree. Silence followed. The First Memory immediately began crying. The Witnesses stared in wonder. The Forgotten fell to their knees. Even Origin looked humbled. Nova couldn't look away. Because beneath the tree sat someone. A figure. Waiting. Watching. Smiling. The person looked ordinary. A simple traveler.
