Hidden Obsession
Adrian stared at it for a long time before finally picking up his fork.
Evan watched him quietly, sipping his wine.
They ate in near silence, only the clink of silverware filling the air.
When Adrian finally set his fork down, Evan leaned forward slightly. “Did you miss me?”
The question was soft, but it sliced through Adrian like a knife.
He opened his mouth to say no, but the word caught in his throat. The hesitation was enough.
Evan’s eyes gleamed. “You did.”
Adrian shoved back from the table, his chair scraping loudly. “This isn’t normal! This—this obsession, this invasion—you’re destroying me, Evan.”
