A TALE OF DARK LUST

A TALE OF DARK LUST

If I do want to end up like her then I should continue to walk. Now I have passed the ninth flag as well. The flambeau had started to burn out after the sixth flag so I quickly lightened the other with the help of it. There, I also ate bread. I am thirsty and I have little energy left. I hope I get out of the maze soon.

Phoenix Cry

Phoenix Cry

I took my book and I lit my index finger with fire and tried burning the book. "They got us there". Zale said and sighed getting his own book and tried to toss it in the ocean. I stopped my fire and stopped him. "Well, as we are back to square one, let's just try to gather information from the northern part," I said and smiled at him. I put my book inside my bag again. It was pointless anyway, to burn the book. It is the book of origin, a book written by the Gods, it is protected from being harmed by anything, by anyone.

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

He spouted them off in quick succession, bobbing his head whenever Ismene gifted him an answer. My stomach fluttered at the sight of his innocent curiosity. It was…cute. “Tell me you’re still alive, tiny goddess. I can feel that you are, but I could also use some reassurance right now.” I let loose a sigh of relief. “We’re alive. Actually, we’ve found Ismene. Get to the center of the maze and head straight down. Oh, and don’t let the Librarian’s touch you unless you want to become one.”

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

The Alpha's Babysitter

The Alpha's Babysitter

Yet, Hazel carried a piece of that tranquility within her, a quiet hum that resonated in her soul. She reached her small apartment, a cozy haven amidst the urban chaos. The familiar scent of her grandmother's lavender soap greeted her, a comforting reminder of home. As she settled into her worn armchair, a steaming mug of chamomile tea in hand, she pulled out her notebook, its pages filled with her scribbled notes and interpretations of "The Odyssey."

Clearing my thoughts, I focused on the book again but stopped reading aloud. When the boat reached the split that Achilles mentioned, I wasn’t sure how to ensure the boat kept to the right. I didn’t have an oar to help steer me. I also wasn’t going to chance touching the water since I didn’t know what dangers lurked beneath the water.

The Cold Compromise

The Cold Compromise

Chapter 99: Deep Waters The Ithaca cut a steady, powerful path through the black Mediterranean. The water was a polished sheet of ink, reflecting only the faint, cold scatter of distant stars. Waves lapped quietly against the hull, but even that sound seemed hushed by the immensity of the night. Behind them, the lights of Nice and Monaco had vanished completely, swallowed by the open sea. The world felt emptied, as if the horizon had swallowed everything they were running from. Silence and darkness surrounded them. It was freedom, but it tasted of exhaustion and loss.

The Descendants - Rise of the Reaper Army

The Descendants - Rise of the Reaper Army

“Aurora, this is by far the most incredible story I’ve ever heard. Please keep going.” She sipped her coffee and winced. “It’s going cold from all my talking.” “That doesn’t matter, we’ll get another. Please, just tell me what happened next.” She nodded and put the mug back down on the table. “We crossed into the west of Greece and made our way south along the coast to Delphi. We had been there for about a week when we heard stories coming out of Athens about a man from England, and a poem he had published called The Giaour.”

she explained further, staring directly at King Kenneth. Suddenly, the woman got on her feet and her eyes rolled up to her head, leaving only the clear part which began to glitter, and so did white fog form in her mouth, and from it came a strange voice, so loud and hard but it spoke with an ancient way, "She would need time but you must know that the fall and rise of Odyssey lies in the hands of your children," Queen Penelope gasped as she felt a movement in her stomach,

Dragon Born Luna

Dragon Born Luna

The air grew thick with the scent of salt and damp earth, a welcome change from the metallic stench of blood and whatever foulness coated those creatures. After what felt like hours but was likely only minutes, we burst out onto a rocky cliffside. Dawn's first light painted the sea below in streaks of gold and crimson, the salt spray stinging our wounds. Behind us, the maze entrance loomed like an open wound in the cliff face. Hayden waited nearby, dressed in uncharacteristic black, his usual smirk absent. His sharp eyes counted us as we collapsed onto the rocks. "Nine," he noted, voice carefully neutral. A pause. "I'd hoped for better."
