Elysia's hand hesitated above the tome, and with a deep breath, she opened it to reveal pages adorned with intricate scripts and symbols.

“Yes sir!” the men replied. Once more, Zephyr laid his eyes on the books, his gaze rested on one of them. The book was covered in a layer of dust and was made of bamboo. It looked unique. “Thunderfoot?” Zephyr muttered as he opened the book, reading its contents. A wave of excitement washed over him. He excitedly flipped through the pages, carefully memorizing the technique’s intricate steps.

"I was wondering if Hecate told you about a book called Knowledge?" I froze in his arms, the mention of the book making my stomach tighten. I looked up at him, and his gaze softened as he noticed the shift in my expression. "So she did. Actually, there are ten parts to it. I have one, and the rest are scattered across the world. So—" He set me down in the tub, and I couldn’t help but feel a little out of my depth in the intimacy of the moment. The water started to fill around us as Hades kept speaking.

He hooked his finger on the spine of a particularly old-looking volume and removed it, extending it toward her. Lily gripped the book in her hands, running her palm over the old leather cover. It was a book of retellings of classic Greek myths. She opened the book to somewhere in the middle, reading the header on the brown, aged page. “‘Orpheus and Eurydice,’” she read. “A love story,” he commented. “A tragic one.”

Being able to explore my characters through their own points of view was an eye opening experience, and I hoped you loved tuning into Dalton, Kendra, and Jake's thoughts just as much as the lead's, Hollis and Whitney's. Despite this book taking five months to write, a month less than two of my other novels, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" is by far my longest book, nearing 600 pages. I couldn't avoid it since there was so much I wanted to cover, and there are no regrets.

Rosemary’s Pov “Don’t open your eyes” he instructs me too late as my eyes are already focused on the huge flame that I see in the distance. My body begins to shake and shiver , my eyes never leaving the hell fire that is harshly consuming the place that I love ; the place in which I grew up in , with all the people that I love. My father’s happy face from my wedding flashes before my eyes , and that’s when it hits me. “Papa!!!!” I scream out in pain and realisation. I lean forward , wanting to jump off and run towards the fiery furnace , hoping to find my father alive and well. Strong arms hold me back , keeping me in place mounted on this horse.

Everything led back to her and our kiss and I wanted to do it over and over again, and more. I fell on the bed, kicking my shoes off and picking up my favorite book. La Divina Commedia, a three-part poem about the travels through the three regions, Hell, Purgatory and Paradise. It was an immediate distraction from my tormenting thoughts and the fact Emiliana was only down the hall. Or so I thought. Soft knocks, almost inaudible, tapped on my door. Louder ones followed before the door swung open.

“Does it bite?” Steve snorted. “Probably.” They reached a circular antechamber at the end of the hall where a massive tome—several feet tall and wider than a table—sat on a pedestal of smoldering glass. The book was open, its pages turning themselves. Emma stepped forward and placed her hand on the edge of the platform. Immediately, flames curled around her wrist—not burning, but connecting.
