Alpha Phillip said calmly as he left the room leaving Penelope on the floor with tears streaming down her face thinking about how unfortunate her life was and all because she was born an omega. The birth of an omega was highly unusual and frowned upon. It was believed they were of little to no value to the community and therefore irrelevant. It had been over a hundred years since an omega had been born into the kingdom of Enchantia and at this, they were believed to be a myth however this was about to change.

I nodded in agreement. “But he usually visited during the holidays until his Father passed away. He had to take over as Alpha and we discovered we were fated mates. I have always been called a wolfless Omega, for Kian it was an insult to be mated to an Omega and one who has not been able to shift for years!!” Eric’s eyes shone in amazement, “No wonder you were unable to heal quickly as expected.” His words tore through my heart leaving me in pain for some minutes.

Apparently, he’s found himself an omega.” Her expression darkened instantly, her face twisting in disapproval. “An omega?” she spat, her lip curling. “A beta marrying a creature as lowly as an omega?” She shook her head, her voice laced with scorn. “What is Tyrone thinking? He could have chosen a strong, influential woman—someone from a powerful bloodline, someone like Hannah.”

I mirrored her, her posture. “The reversal is impossible,” she said. My stomach twisted. “Alpha has an idea extra structure an omega doesn’t have,” she said, “to turn an Alpha into an omega, you destroy the structure. But creating that structure.” I cut her off. “Is it possible?” My voice tightened. “Even in theory—no,” she said, voice sharp. “It’s a unique cell, tissue. What the fuck is wrong with you Gerard? Your patient is going to have to live his life as an omega.”
