The One With Phoebe's Ex Partner Novels & Stories

He stood beside his car, suit rumpled, hands shaking as he replayed the moment Susan collapsed, her face pale, lips swelling, the terror in her eyes when her lungs betrayed her. He hadn’t known. But that excuse rang hollow even to him now. How do you stay married to someone for 3 years and not know that they are allergic to peonies. His phone buzzed. It was an unknown Number. He answered without thinking. “You will not contact her again.” The voice on the other end was calm, controlled, dangerous. “Adrian,” Julian said hoarsely. “This call is a courtesy,” Adrian replied. “Nothing more.” “I didn’t mean to hurt her.”

I didn't know how long it took before the pain in my stomach slowly faded. At that moment, my phone screen suddenly lit up with a notification. I tapped it and saw a text message from William. "You've been Clara's husband for five years. You've enjoyed enough of that life. Now that I'm back, it's time for you to get lost." A video appeared right after. In it, Sarah climbed into the car and gleefully settled on William's lap, calling him "Dad" with a bright, obedient smile. Clara sat beside them, smiling with a softness I had never noticed in her before.

SEAN I saw Phoebe going to the rooftop sadly, I followed her, I hid when I saw Brian. I know Phoebe will be mad at him but I was wrong, she was the one apologizing instead. I saw everything they did. I came out of my hiding place when Brian left with his friend.

Phoebe stared at the door in disbelief. Was she in some kind of dream? Did he just ask her to abort her child? Just to prove to him that she wasn’t working together with Trevor? He must be out of his mind. She thought as she got up from the bed and went to the bathroom for a quick leak. But on returning, her mind diverted to the woman whom Adam had mentioned. She wasn't clueless as to who she was as the way Lucas's face changed on hearing her name said it all. Phoebe was grateful to his ex for coming at the right time and stealing his attention, as she had no idea what he would have done next if he hadn't been interrupted.

“I just have to clear up a few things, and I need closure. I don't think I can move on with my life if I don't get one from him.” Mom sighed, she almost looked like she was going to say something, but at the very last moment she stopped herself. While I was happy to know she wasn't going to argue with me about it, I wanted to know what she had to say. Somewhere deep inside, I was looking for reasons to not go, especially after sleeping with his dad. “I think you're being an idiot, and you're going to regret meeting him,” Ant added with a mouthful of green leaves. “Nothing good comes out of meeting your ex, and yes I'm talking from experience.”

Mila asked her if they were dating, and Phoebe denied it decisively. With their fervent phone conversations, stretching on for hours with no shortage of topics, Mila couldn't help but ask, "Isn't Cole busy?" Phoebe chuckled. "He is, but he managed to chat with me on his Bluetooth headset." Then, she asked Mila, "Doesn't Mr. Morrison call you?" Mila showed Phoebe the chat history with Nathan on her phone. Phoebe was taken aback and sighed with a smile. "You're still the same, Mila. I can't help but feel sorry for him."

At that time, Noah was eating fried chicken and almost choked. After a violent cough, Noah drank a glass of wine. His handsome face was suffused with disbelief. What was going on? Weren't they friends? And besides he couldn't date his best friend's ex! It would be as if he snatched her away from Tristan. Noah fled in panic and never dared to meet Phoebe again. Phoebe was confused and realized that she had done something wrong. She sent a message to Noah, telling him to forget it, and she did it on impulse.

KIM You shouldn't have hung up like that,” Phoebe said, looking intently into my eyes “Why should I keep talking to him?” I asked, matching her gaze with the same intensity “Why should you keep talking to him? He's your husband Kim” She responded “Soon to be ex-husband” I retorted angrily “Well, you're still legally married to him for now” She muttered “Not for long anyway. You know, sometimes I don't know who you're supporting. Ain't you supposed to support Me?” I asked

Why did I enter this situation in the first place. I was content with life with the little I was earning. With just being a model. With having Micheal as my boyfriend. Immediately I got a notification on my phone. Still from that number. “LET'S MEET”.
