"The seer (witch) of the pack mentioned that the child in your mate womb is carrying the last bloodline of your great grandparents." He added. "That is not a problem, my child is special then, you know I heard from my parents that my great grandfather was a big red and black werewolf, I wonder what colour my child will be, even if my child doesn't inherit I or my mate's colour of the wolf, I know my child will have those wolf yellowish eyes just like every one of us here in our pack."

This time Leo leaves a hand on my shoulder and turns me to face Ben along with him. “Ben, this is Remington. Alpha Jamie’s son.” This one sentence changed the air around us. A new wind blew through the pack members as the truth of my bloodline was announced so simply in that one introduction. Whispers moved through the group but the loudest gasp came from right in front of me, standing next to Ben. For all the confusion this day held, I felt the worst for Mina right now trying to put pieces together she didn’t even knew existed.

I want nothing more than to smack the smirks off of their faces, but that would require me to get up, and right now, I am comfortable, and I don’t feel like moving. “What do you mean that it is because of Tiernan’s blood line?” I ask. “One of his ancestors is a relative to the first lycans created by your moon goddess. Both of your parent's lines are from two of the original vampires that that god created so that is three powerful bloodlines in one little man.” Lennox explains.

“They received an order to go investigate the temple after making their report, but none of them returned. We believe it was one of the original sacred sites, built by the first shifters to settle in these lands.” “The first shifters?” Sera asked, her voice tight with concern. Elder Selene pulled an ancient scroll out of nowhere. It’d browned at the edges, and the words were fading. “According to the records, there were three bloodlines that came to these lands centuries ago. The Solaris line, known for its healing abilities. The Lunaris line, masters of shadow and stealth. And the Stellaris line, whose members possessed the rare ability to see glimpses of the future.”

Ever since she arrived at Blackthorn, it hadn’t appeared and she would have preferred it that way, but now, she feared it won’t always be like that anymore. On her arm, she saw the lines again, like vines twisting and circling. It moved on its own and it had a glow of its own—a faint one. She raised her arm and watched it closely, not understanding what it was and why it chose her out of the billions of people alive. Or could it be that she wasn’t the only one? Like how she discovered that there are vampires and wolves in the school, could there be more out there? Even from her other school?

“You call this home?” He chuckled softly. “You misunderstand, Aria. This is where you were made. The bloodline didn’t begin in the wilds. It began here — in human hands. You’re not divine. You’re engineered.” His words struck like a blade. “You’re lying.” Selene’s voice echoed from below. “The archives don’t lie.” Holograms flickered to life around us — ancient schematics, DNA strands, faces of people long dead. My heart stopped when I saw one of them.

"Who was hunting you?" Perla took a deep breath, staring into the fire. "Your father and I... we were from different packs. Different bloodlines. His was the Lycan line—ancient, powerful, blessed by the Goddess herself. Mine was the First Blood, the original wolves, the ones who walked the earth when magic was still wild and untamed."

Then, softer, almost unwillingly, “But history has been wrong before.” She paced once, restless. “There were whispers. Bloodlines thought extinguished. Children born outside the pack. Hidden in plain sight. Marked but unclaimed.” She stopped in front of me. “If this were a mistake,” she said, her voice darkening, “the power would have rejected you. It would have torn you apart.” My chest tightened. Fear crawled up my spine. “I’m scared.” Mira’s eyes locked onto mine. “The wolves you saw,” she said slowly, “silver, gold, red, black… those are not pack wolves. Those are ancient aspects. Guardians of bloodlines long buried.”

Eve's POV The fifth faction was called the Bloodline Council. They were the oldest faction in the Conclave. Older than the Military faction. Older than the Merchant faction. Older than everything except the Conclave itself. They represented the ancient supernatural bloodlines, the families that had been part of the supernatural world since before anyone had started writing things down. Vampires who had seen empires rise and fall. Witch lineages that predated the Conclave by centuries. Shifter clans whose histories went back further than most recorded supernatural law.
