Chase squeezed my sister's neck tighter then with one swift movement he ripped the heart from one of the guards. Everyone gasp, watching in horror as the man's still beating heart slipped from Chase's fingertips. He was ruthless, savage. He would kill us all and that soup will take out all thirteen packs. I hated these people, I hated my life, but I wouldn't let them die. I ran to the large pot of soup sitting over a roaring fire and pushed it with everything I had. I felt Athena behind me, pushing as hard as she could to break the bonds we were place in. The bowl tipped and hot liquid poured over Chase.

"I'm glad your spirit isn't broken by this news" Rudy said, a sad smile formed on her face, "Your family has suffered enough at the hands of this town. I'm ashamed to be called a citizen of Anwood."
