RUNAWAY BRIDE: BOUND TO THE BIKER ALPHA

RUNAWAY BRIDE: BOUND TO THE BIKER ALPHA

The particular quality of exhaustion there, the kind that came not from lack of sleep but from years of carrying a weight with no one to share it. I believed her. I opened my mouth to say something. Something real and difficult and probably necessary. The wall of the main room exploded inward. Not a bomb. A Veil tear, opening wide and violent, smoke and cold air and that vast hollow pressure pouring through all at once. Caine Voss stepped through it, leather jacket, no injuries from the night before, completely composed. Beside him was a man in a charcoal business suit, slight and grey-haired and ancient in a way that had nothing to do with appearance and everything to do with what radiated

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

Victoria led Raven through the aisles hand in hand, fingers laced tight, the obsidian raven pendant at Raven’s throat catching flickers of light with every step. They moved in comfortable silence until Raven stopped before a shelf labeled in silver script: *Veilcraft – Intermediate Bindings*. Her sharp blue eyes scanned the spines—leather cracked with age, titles etched in languages half-forgotten. One volume called to her like a whisper against bone: *The Greater Veil: Finer Threads of Dominion*

The Ashen Veil

The Ashen Veil

Dark. Intricate. Not ink. Not entirely. Something older. Something that doesn’t belong on human skin. My breath catches. Because I’ve seen it before. Not like this. Not fully. But pieces of it. Fragments. Etched into old books. Spoken in warnings. Taught to pups who were expected to lead one day. My hand stills. My gaze locks onto it. “What… is that?” Nyxara moves instantly. Too fast. She grabs my wrist and shoves my hand away from her, stepping back in the same motion, putting distance between us again.

Veil of Secrets

Veil of Secrets

What I still had left to do. By the time I reached our dormitory, Evelina had already started packing. Sigils still thrummed quietly along the walls of our concealed closet, elegant script so fine the Eye couldn’t see them. She moved gracefully in the candlelight, efficient and deliberate. Books of enchanted parchment levitated next to her as she folded them carefully into a reinforced carrying case.

The Omega The Alpha Couldn't Kill

The Omega The Alpha Couldn't Kill

Behind her stood Jax, bleeding, his back to her, facing down someone cloaked in shadow with eyes like burning coal. "Stop it," Nova whispered. "Stop. Stop. Stop please!" The woman in the veil spoke finally, but her voice was layered dozens of voices speaking as one. She sounded possessed. Her eyes turned black and face turned to look like a corpse. She gave Nova an evil smile and Nova screamed. Nova shook her head, heart racing. "What am I supposed to do? Just tell me!" The pool's surface shimmered again, showing four identical books—Ruins texts, all open, pages turning by themselves in the wind. One page glowed gold, one bled ink, one turned to ash, and one remained blank.

Until The Last Day

Until The Last Day

He turned and snarled at the veiled woman, “And if I kill you?” Her blind eyes shone even brighter. “Then she bleeds empty…a book with its ending torn out. She’ll wander forever half-written.” Vincent quickly faced Camela again. “And if I kill her?” The chains of the veiled woman rattled as a cruel smile appeared beneath her veil. "Then I walk away free. A book is restored. But without her…without the shell…you lose your bride." Camela shouted, "Don’t listen! Vincent, don’t pay attention to her!"

Elixir: Fated To The Three Alpha

Elixir: Fated To The Three Alpha

“It makes her the veil’s queen. But you’re the people’s.” Ewen added, “And now the veil wants to decide between you.” At midnight, I sat alone at the altar again, flame weaving through my fingers without thought The veil in front of me shimmered gently, calm for now I closed my eyes And whispered a single word “Why?” And the veil responded Not in words In visions I saw her Not a shadow Not a wraith A queen Seated on a throne carved from ribs and roses Wolves bent before her in silence, marked not by bond but by oath

The Alpha's Third Mistress

The Alpha's Third Mistress

She looked into the book, although she couldn't read it. "It's called pèplo tis Lítis, translating to The Veil Of Oblivion." Elke's reaction was instant. She gasped and recoiled in horror, her hand flying to her mouth. Every remnant of sleep she felt eluded her immediately as her heart began racing faster than normal. "What did... What did you just say, Sheera?" Sheera's brows pinched in uncertainty. "It's called the Veil Of..." "No, don't repeat it. Don't!" Elke shook her head vehemently, her voice coming out in a husky whisper.

On My Knees, Daddy: A Compilation of Short Stories

On My Knees, Daddy: A Compilation of Short Stories

Elaine’s POV The gallery lights were dim and golden and every painting looked like it was breathing under them. The tour guide walked ahead of our small group with his hands clasped behind his back and his voice pitched low and reverent like he was afraid the artwork might overhear. We had just entered the third exhibition room, the one in the brochure called “The Whispering Veil Collection.” The guide stopped in front of a massive canvas that showed a woman half-turned away from the viewer with crimson silk slipping from her shoulders while a shadow with no face reached for her.
