Locked In The Snares Of Illusion

Locked In The Snares Of Illusion

Astrid replied and displayed the books she was holding. "I see. How's your part-time work? I've heard that you've gained more mutual friends and the store's customers have increased? That's very good to hear, that bookstore has been my favorite place." Talia spoke, which eventually made the young girl gasp in surprise. "You're one of the regular clients?" "Oh why, yes. You probably didn't remember me," the librarian replied, which made Astrid think and tried to recall those days she's out for labor. "So, why do you think the world is against you?" The woman asked all of a sudden which made Astrid pause from scanning the book she was holding.

Luna Scarlett's Second Chance

Luna Scarlett's Second Chance

A slow smile lights up her face and she nods, preening lightly, “Well, I was going to say congratulations, on the Moon Jubilee. It was spectacular, and there’s really no other word for it.” I smile indulgently, “Thank you very much. I’m glad everyone enjoyed it.” She nods and looks away, this time with a slight blush coloring her cheeks, “I also wanted to ask if I could help you with what you’re looking for. Is it a work of fiction or some bit of pack history? I’m the assistant librarian, and we barely get anyone in the library lately, except for the random few of course.” I heave a breath of relief when I hear that because hells, I was starting to get a little bit frustrated.

Ruin Me: My Stepbrother, My Professor

Ruin Me: My Stepbrother, My Professor

The lie rolled smoothly off my tongue as my hand moved to my neck, adjusting my turtleneck shirt. “Who do you think could have done that? I mean your drink?” Isa asked, eyebrows furrowed. The librarian shot us a warning glare, and I looked back into my book while Isa kept poking at me to answer. This girl. She couldn't take hints. “Who do you think?” I asked, keeping my voice down. She leaned in, the glitter on her shirt shining. “Your…cousin?” I didn't get to answer before the librarian appeared beside our table like a ghost. “Ladies,” she said tightly, pushing her glasses up. “This is a library.”

Is Life A Single Player Experience?

She tucks her hanging ID as she speaks, "You know, this library is going to be closed soon." "That's what's troubling you?" I ask. "Yes, the Student Council has been getting a lot of complaints about how this library have become a messy spot.." Tiffany explains. "People only come here to hide between the shelves, and smoke, or drink, or even kiss and do PDA! They're disrespecting this place's sacracy!" Seeing her delicate white skin flushes in frustration, all I could do is nod. "That's unacceptable." "Yeah. So, when the librarian, Ms. Erika, assigned the Library Friends to help her put things straight," Tiffany's shoulders jerk. "Some of us—have snapped pictures, catching people right-hande

"Universe in a nutshell." After giving him the book, I asked, "Is that all?" "Yeah. Thanks for the help." I gave a nod and continued with the work. While I was arranging, I saw some books being misplaced. Why these people doesn't get it? I took out the books and placed them on the table and went to the librarian and said, "Did you tell everyone to leave the books on the table once they are done with it?" "Yeah, look at the tables over there." "But I found some books in the wrong places."

Dating The Villain

Dating The Villain

“—you’re here because that something you’re going to finish is the part your groupmates didn't pass again.” When she answered with an uneasy smile, the librarian rolls her eyes and sighed in frustration. “You know what, darling, I love that you’re spending your time in my library for something productive, but this isn’t it." She even gestured to her with her hand. "I’m banning you next time if this is still the reason why you’re here.” She just giggled, thanked the kind librarian, and went on to her usual spot—it is the nth time Miss Minchin warned that.

THIS. BOOK. DESERVES. A. LOT. OF. VIEWS I admire the author's writing style because the story is well-written. You can easily go with the flow because there are no bothersome errors. The title is catchy and intriguing that makes you want to explore the story itself. Kudos to the author!
Frankie Nero.
Great read. I love how you took your time in character development. Its one of the things I admire in fiction. I also loved the fact that the clichés were minimised. I think I fell in love with Sofia at one point. She's the definition of woman power.

The Songbird

The Songbird

“You really can’t be a doctor. You look like a little kid.” “Well, looks can be deceiving,” Larissa stated and then went back to the book that was in front of her. Mrs. Libby walked into the room. “Good that you are reviewing it.” She said as she looked at the other woman who was now glaring at Larissa. “This is almost the same book that you had ten years ago or so.” “She was one of your students?” The woman asked Judy as she looked between the two women. She wanted to prove that the young woman in front of her was not what she said she was. That was plain to see for everyone in the room.

Having a crush on my Alpha Professor

Having a crush on my Alpha Professor

" I asked him. I was looking now at him and he seemed flustered by my question. I had him off guard obviously and he was thinking of a way to correct his error. That instant, the moon goddess thought it fair to come to his rescue as the guard returned with the librarian bearing a huge book. We disconnected immediately. "You sent it to me, Alpha." The librarian said to him. "The right of dici hominem. Find and show me." Alpha Clark demanded hastily. He looked like he was going to cry soon. "Of course but might I ask what reason?" The librarian asked. "Do you now question your Alpha?" Alpha Clark demanded. "Of course not." The poor man said.

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

He had written that question at the top of the first page as the commission's beginning, the attending question, the inside view sought before the first line was drawn. He thought about the question at two hundred pages. He thought about what the library knew now — not the question of the first page but the answer accumulated across the year and a half of the notes. He thought about the corner and the four-year-old and the quieter December light and the girl of eleven who had held the book for five weeks. He thought about the Thursday messages from Ruth and the full stair and the east gallery and Miriam Chen ascending the stairs on Thursday morning. He thought about all of it as the answer t

Changing personalities from time to time. When I flipped into the other pages, it suddenly vanished just in a snap and when I turned my head up, our strict librarian was already in front of me holding the book I recently read on his right hand. She raised an eyebrows to me and rolled her eyes after. If we're not allowed to read it then they should keep it in the private area. How can they keep such a private book in the public shelves? I made a face and drop off my gaze in the table. I look at the librarian and I saw she placed the book inside the vault near her table. Is it a secret? Why does it needs to be place in the vault where there were so many space in her shelf.
