Nobody Messes with the Code Master

Nobody Messes with the Code Master

"To be honest, I'd like to apply for a consultant position at your company. I've been in the industry for thirty years and have extensive connections…" I interrupted politely, "Peter, with all due respect, our company doesn't have a need for that type of role." His face went pale instantly. "Rex, I… I really need this job. I haven't had an income in six months…" I paused for a moment, pouring him a glass of water. "Peter, rather than seeking charity, it's better to reassess your value. Technology changes, markets change—but integrity and skill never go out of style." After Peter left, I convened a special meeting.

The Billionaire's Showgirl

The Billionaire's Showgirl

“There he is.” The words landed like a match in gasoline. I looked at Luca. He had gone terrifyingly quiet. Peter leaned back in his chair, as if he were in a board meeting discussing quarterly losses instead of my attempted murder. “You see, that is the problem,” he said. “You used to understand yourself. You understood power. Sacrifice. Reputation. You understood that New Zenith could not be built by committee or sentiment.” Luca’s jaw tightened. “I still understand power.” “No,” Peter said. “You understand possession now. There is a difference.”

The Werewolf Curse

The Werewolf Curse

Darin said. “Well, Tomas a way of saying thank you, you will grant me a favor.” Peter said. “I know I have lived for a long time but not long enough to acquire the skills of a genie. I don’t grant favors.” Darin said and walked away from Peter and back to the chair where he had been. Peter was frustrated by his reply, he really was smart. “Okay, not a favor. I have a request to make.” Peter said.

UNDER HIS RULES: Trapped in his game

UNDER HIS RULES: Trapped in his game

A man slid into the open space of my cubicle, leaning his hip against the edge of my desk with an ease that immediately set off my internal alarms. He was dressed in an expensive suit, his hair perfectly coiffed, carrying an air of unearned confidence. His ID badge read Peter, Senior Logistics Analyst. He was the type of office parasite who used charm to mask a total lack of substance. “I’m Peter,” he said, flashing a practiced, charismatic smile that didn't reach his eyes. He leaned in a little closer, trying to peer into my line of sight. “You’ve got the whole floor talking, you know. It’s not every day a wildcard walks straight out of the unemployment line and into a direct appointment fr

His To Own: Daddy's Secret Desires.

His To Own: Daddy's Secret Desires.

His mouth opened, but no words came out, just the faint sound of his shallow breathing. "I-I would never do that, sir," he finally managed to stammer. "I’ve been loyal to you since day one. This…this must be a misunderstanding." "Misunderstanding?" I repeated, my voice dripping with disdain. "A misunderstanding doesn't make our proposal get rejected with such scathing feedback. It’s sloppy work, Peter, and if I didn’t know better, I’d think it was sabotage!" Peter’s eyes widened, and he took a cautious step back. "I swear, sir, I worked on that project day and night. I followed every directive you gave. If it failed, it wasn’t because I didn’t try my best!"

My Love Until the Last Goodbye

My Love Until the Last Goodbye

Peter smiled, then left for his meeting with the principal. - “Mr. Palmer, I must admit, I’m surprised to hear your surname,” the principal began. “Here in Valentia, there’s a prominent Palmer family. But since you mentioned you’re from Slovenia, I assume there’s no connection.” “I suppose not,” Peter replied calmly. “As you said, I’m from Slovenia. Perhaps some Palmer moved there long ago, but I wouldn’t know anything about that.” The principal nodded, though his curiosity remained piqued. “So, Mr. Palmer, what was the matter you wished to discuss in person?”

this is the most confusing story I had ever read. there are so many characters and flashbacks, you end up mixing things and no, you don't get to read her comeback because the story skips when they are way older like they are in their fifties? it's not worth reading.

Amazing Ex Wife: Come Back Please

Amazing Ex Wife: Come Back Please

Peter noticed their reaction and raised his voice slightly, pretending to comfort me. “You’re still young, Katelyn. You need resources to start over, I understand. If you really need these documents to earn a living after leaving the company, you can have them.” He turned to Ryan, extending his hand. “Give me those documents. Let’s let her keep them. I don’t blame her.” Ryan hesitated, but then handed over the folder. Peter took it and slowly approached me, pretending kindness. I stood still, not taking the folder. Peter held it toward me, making sure everyone noticed his fake generosity.

My Lucky Charm.

My Lucky Charm.

he says and I nod. "You see Alex, some people are just born to be dominant, to take care of others. While others just like to hand over the responsibilities and be free" Mr. Peter explains. "Okay, but what does that have to do with me?" I ask. "You see Alex you are a great candidate for this program," he says. "Let me explain a bit about it, we offer you a better housing, food, shelter, clothes, and a college scholarship" he keeps going.

Excuse Me, Where Has My Bonus Gone?

Excuse Me, Where Has My Bonus Gone?

" At last, he got to the main point. It turned out I had leverage over him. "So what?" I asked calmly. "Does that have anything to do with me?" "Yes! It does! Mr. Neal, please be merciful! I'll accept the tenfold rent increase! I'll sell everything I have to pay you! "Please renew the contract! Just one year—no, six months will do!" With a thump, he fell to his knees in front of me. In front of dozens of employees, Peter—a man in his 40s—was kneeling in front of a "subordinate" he had bossed around just yesterday.

Chasing Poisonous

Chasing Poisonous

I know I am hearing him, but my mind keeps on repeating one fucking thing: that how could I make such a silly mistake? "See, I am not into these things. I've never been a fan of deceiving people to gain power. In fact, I find it very low. It's something that people do when they are weak and incompetent." He sighs and focuses his intense gaze on me. "I am neither of them, but Peter is. Sadly, he is trying to force me to get in this shit because of his cheap tactics.." "I am just fed up with his stunts...I don't know why he is fucking doing this.." He says shaking his head as his eyebrows knit together drawing an irritated look on his face.
