“You knew?” He nodded and sighed in resignation. “Yeah. I have a habit of being over—well,” he shrugged, “—some people would call it micromanaging, but I like to cross my t’s and make sure there are no blind spots. Unfortunately,” Peter clicked his tongue and shook his head, “that extends to other people sometimes.” Eveline’s lips pursed slowly, her body leaning in as he reached into his drawer for something. Peter pulled out a thin envelope and slid it over to her.

I said. "Yes," he said. "Separately." He paused. "Without telling us he had sent it to both." "Why separately?" I said. "Different applications," he said. "He sent me the company version." He paused. "About how stable organizations grow through consistent decisions rather than dramatic shifts." He paused. "The same principle applied to the company." I looked at the commission. "He sent us each the geological principle for our specific contexts," I said. "Yes," he said. "At five years old," I said.

Shaun's bodyguards had Peter pinned to the ground. He sat there hunched over, his face blank, muttering like he couldn't process Yule being gone. Tracey hovered nearby, swatting at the guards' arms, shrieking, "Let him go! Peter's the CEO of PF Corp! Do you even know what'll happen if you hurt him?" Shaun let out this icy laugh, totally unimpressed. "CEO? Please. He wouldn't even have that title if I hadn't handed it to him. Without me, he's just nothing."

Gloria glanced at her with disdain, “Global has always been a place where the capable ones are on top. Don’t think that you can get what you want just because you have connections. Sit on the bed. Let’s talk.” Peter obeyed while the king sat beside him. “My dear, I get that you feel wronged and inferior to Phoenix. You think he should be crown prince coz he’s got the talents and everything needed. But the law has stated and I have already appointed you as crown prince since birth. I just didn’t announce it, my boy.”

None of them were to my interest, but I noticed something about the way the people reacted. Then, it hit me. Peter was bribing them more or less. This was a taste of what they could expect if we followed Peter’s agenda to take over the human world. Endless new human women to have and discard as they wanted. The power of not having to hide in plain sight, to be treated like kings, was what Peter was offering. It was ridiculous and short-sighted to think that Peter was really offering such a thing.

"But this does not concern Amara! this is my issue with HR." Peter stands his ground. It was his mistake, he shouldn't let the man be in line for the position. He knows that he was a bit unstable yet he thinks that his name was needed as an option only. Peter didn't think that he would make such threats against Amara who voted no for him. Peter was exhausted when he slipped Duffy's name into the candidates' list for the operational director of the new branch. But when the day comes, Amara declined his name saying her dad knows that the man has a gambling problem, and had been he had suspected of taking the company's money.

I could tell he was shocked by my words, but I refused to back down. "You have no idea how much this opportunity means to us," Peter pleaded, his voice rising with emotion. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance, and you're throwing it away like it's nothing. Other people would give anything to be in your shoes right now. Please, don't make a decision you'll regret." "But..." I started to protest, but I was cut off by Peter's voice, booming with intensity. "No, you don't understand," he snapped, his patience clearly running thin. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you're about to ruin it."

But everything changed after college, his behaviors and actions towards me changed completely; acting all antagonist towards me. That was because grandfather had always praised me over him, and had high expectations of me more than he had of him. And I had once overheard his parents urging him to stop at nothing to see me lose everything So, should I consider Peter's interest in my position or his want for my downfall a mistake? I groaned frustratedly. Why couldn't she just reason the truth? The world wasn't the way she believed it was, she didn't know that it was full of evil and wickedness. Why didn't she understand that?
