Age Is Just A Number

Age Is Just A Number

I blushed, shook my head, and cleared my throat. “I mean, I’ve been planning to give you since you solved the assignment. The book is very important, it costs the owner’s life.” “What?” he asked in surprise. He’s too young to know the story of the book. The book isn’t popular because it’s the author’s first book. He was a psychologist and also labelled a psychopath. What he wrote in the book was facts about human nature, how to read people and how to make them respect you at all costs as their boss.

One-night Stand: Paint And Pen

One-night Stand: Paint And Pen

Peter hastily turned off the stove, he went to kick Brian's waist with the hope that Brian could keep his mouth shut, he went to Mia's hand and swore: "Don't do that, you can't. I'll work hard, I'll give him the manuscript on time, I swear! Please don't come here, please?" Mia instructs him: “You must not be lazy. If you have accepted to do these things then you must be responsible for it. He is lazy and neglecting his work is a no-no. Did you know?” Peter listened intently as if a student making a mistake was listening to the teacher's instruction: “Okay, I got it. Next time I won't be like that." Mia nodded: “I believe you for the time being. Manager Keen, if next time Peter is like this,

I took a seat on the sofa once again, noticing the tray of sandwiches on the end table and my stomach grumbled, I hadn’t eaten much lunch and had been walking for hours. “Help yourself to food.” Peter suggested, motioning in the direction of the tray as he poured out two cups of tea. “Did you read through any of the book?” “Some, I read the chapters on Primogentius and some of the descriptions on the races.” “Okay, and what do you think so far? It occurred to me after you left that perhaps this may be too much information too fast.”

The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

In a nutshell, he was nothing more than Kit's lapdog. "Shit, so this is what they call an expendable asset?" Peter huffed as he trudged along the street, getting grumpier the more he thought about it. Ultimately, he turned his crosshairs on Frank—there would not have been so much mess if not for Frank, and he would have made his grand debut as Lanecorp's new boss. At the very least, he would not be bullied even by Kit's underlings, living just like a dog.

100 Nights Contract with Mr.CEO

100 Nights Contract with Mr.CEO

“She didn't leave, Ethan. You made her leave, there is a big difference. And if you are still not able to realize this difference and understand the value of someone whom you have to force to leave you, and are still comparing them to someone who willingly left yo… then I don't know how you are the most successful businessman of the country–” Peter's voice is uncharacteristically sharp, and I have to interrupt him. “What do you mean? I am not following you here.” “That's your problem, you don't follow the people who genuinely love and care for you, instead, you follow the people who have already betrayed you in the past and I can bet they will betray you in future too, if they get the chance

Janet replied. Immediately Peter stuttered, of course he didn’t want to cause any misunderstandings to his boss’ son. “Oh no ... that’s not what I mean, Miss Janet, but I just think this man doesn’t have enough experience,” Peter tried to defend himself and explain his words. “How do you know he doesn’t have enough experience? You don’t know how it works yet,” Janet argued. “You are right Miss, I was just expecting. Is it appropriate for an inexperienced person,-” “You yourself have no right to brag and say to someone before seeing it,” Janet said quickly.

Sold To The Stongest Alpha

Sold To The Stongest Alpha

I opened my eyes to see Peter focused on his book. "What are you reading?" I asked, glancing at the book in his hands. Peter held up the cover for me to see. "Um, it's just some light reading. Nothing much," he said with a smirk. It was a book on ancient rituals and protective magic. This was a far cry from what most people would consider light reading. But, then again, Peter wasn't like most people. "I should’ve known. I should've known," I said with a chuckle, shaking my head. "You can take the man out of the curse, but I guess you can’t take the curse out of the man."

True love's first kill

True love's first kill

We sleep, not as much as we should, only enough to keep us going. We find nothing usefull in these books. And nothing eventful happens until day 5. Peter shoots to his feet, and runs to my side. "Annie... I know it's not what we are looking for at the moment... But... Look what I found..." Peter shoves a book under my nose. He is practicaly bouncing with excitment. I look down at the book, it takes me a moment to fully comprehend what I am reading... "Oh.." I say slowly, then I smile a huge smile.

My Boss My Secret Husband

My Boss My Secret Husband

“No, sir, I cannot betray his trust like that.” “Oh, that is a shame. Because if you do, we both get a chance at promotions. But if you do not, you’ll be out of a job completely,” he fake frowned at me. “You do not have that power, I’m not under you anymore,” I said, my work filter starting to disappear. “Unless…” Unless he was going to try and screw me over like Bob did, I almost said out loud. Luckily the filter did manage to stop that one. “Unless I had something on you? I knew you were a smart one,” Peter smiled. “Don’t you worry.” He leaned forward. “I do.”

Unfortunately, the story is way too slow and quite frankly stupid!! How can you not see what in front of your face and how can you just let someone walk all over like that and take your ring that the ring was yours? It’s just a bit I can, finish reading this book

A Werewolf's Growth and Redemption

A Werewolf's Growth and Redemption

Peter demonstrated through his actions that he was an indispensable member of our team. Kim continued to cling to Maria whenever he wasn’t receiving treatment, following her around like a child. While his antics occasionally made Maria chuckle, there were times when he was a nuisance. Whenever he became bothersome, Peter would step in and lead him away. Regardless of Kim's past as a former leader or his seniority, Peter would unceremoniously keep him at a distance from Maria, ensuring she could focus on her work.
