Bound To The Cursed Lycan
I’d been so caught up in the dog’s presence, in its impossible normalcy, that I hadn’t thought to test whether I could command it like I could the mice and spiders.
Part of me didn’t want to.
Part of me wanted to keep this interaction pure, untainted by the strange power I didn’t understand.
But I needed to know.
“Sit,” I said softly.
The dog was already sitting, so I tried again.
“Stand up.”
The dog stood immediately.
My breath caught.
“Turn around.”
It turned in a slow circle and sat back down, looking at me expectantly.
Oh.
Oh, this changed everything.
If I could command a dog—something bigger, stronger, more dangerous than a mouse—what else could I control?
