The Power Of The Dog Book Novels & Stories

I couldn’t bear to think about what state she might be in otherwise. “This one says the one without a wolf will carry earth-shattering power.” Davin selected a different book from the pile and set it down between us. I picked it up and flicked through it, wrinkling my nose at the smell of old leather and dust. “The Wolfless, as it goes on to call such a person, will be used and abused, and in the wrong hands their power will destroy the not only the Wolven Realms, but the human lands as well.”

The creature approaches me and then lies down in front of me. Stepping toward the large hound I reach out placing my hand on the nose of the creature. The dog closes their eyes as a strong presence fills me. I gasp as the dog begins to disappear, slowly begging absorbed through my fingertips. My breath picks up as my lungs begin to burn. I sink to the ground gasping for air.

Power will change, Revenge will change But the only thing that will not change will be . . . The Resurrection of the Thunder wolf. Next book titled : Thunder wolf ( book 2)

Look down on him squatting on the grass with the dog on his lap. It looked up at me. Me, blocking the moonlight makes his amber eyes shine more in the dark. Damn those eyes. I cursed silently. "You! Bring me back the book your dog stole from me." I demanded to him. Recognition flashes in his eyes. It seems to understand what I said. "Ahhhh...." he trailed, then his turn into a frown as if he remembered something nasty. I raised my eyebrows at this answer. 'Ahhhh' that's all? as long as I said that's all he will answer?

he explained, leaning forward to retrieve the book. “Wait… so she wasn’t sleepwalking. But her wolf was using its powers while she slept? And what’s that book?” Khalid asked, nodding to the book. “Basically, yes. And that will make finding her harder. And this, it is a book of my Luna’s pack that may have the information we need.” John answered, remaining vague about the contents of the book.

pulsing and boiling. His eyes darkened. A rage swarmed within him. They had stolen this book and cut him off this power for weeks! He wasn't just here to take back what belonged to him, he was here to teach them all a lesson. He grabbed the book, holding it between his teeth, and glanced back at the whimpering she-wolf he hadn't finished off yet. From the way she fought, she was clearly a strong, important member of the Pack...so killing her would most definitely deal a fatal blow to the Timberfang Pack.

he jabbed a finger toward the book without looking at it—“simply implies the era of then, not now!” I exhaled slowly, fighting back the urge to scream with him. “It wouldn’t be called the Book of Forgotten Truth if there wasn’t some weight to its words, Devon. Think. Have you ever heard of a wolf outside of you mating with a woman—a human—and conceiving with her? Have you?” At the word conceived, his pacing faltered. Devon froze, his broad back stiff, his head lowering slightly. When he finally turned to look at me, his eyes were darker, unreadable.

I carefully opened the book, the pages crackling with age, and began to read. The text was written in an ancient script, difficult to decipher, but the more I read, the more a sense of dread settled over me. It spoke of a rare lineage of wolves, ones with powers that could either save or destroy. My heart pounded as the descriptions started to match what I had seen in Emily, the strange glow in her eyes, the way her presence had started to affect those around her, even me.

said Knight as he wandered his eyes around. “Old habits die hard. And yeah, these are rare collections of ancient books, mostly not written in English. While I can’t read most of these books, Evelyn can. She studied at the university, and she can read different languages. Anyway,” He searched for stuck books in the corner. “Here.” “Dated back fifteenth century.” Evelyn took the old book from Alpha Frye and opened the pages, carefully not damaging it. “It translates as a woman who possessed the ultimate power and strength of a thousand wolves. Her power comes from within and will defeat the undefeatable evil.”

“Here you will learn how to be exceptional as a Luna and the powers and privileges it comes with.” I took up the book, eager to see what was written inside. He stopped me with words. “Wait, before you read, remember one thing. Power changes people, but if you can remember where you came from, then you will preserve your sanity. Now you can open it.” I opened the book slowly. What did he mean by power changing people? Was that his way of warning or advising me in parables because I wasn’t getting it. The first few pages were names of Luna with dates and years they served all recorded in faded ink.
