Rosie found the newest addition to a series of books she was collecting, and I stumbled upon a book illustrated by Jessica Wright. “This is the lady we met this morning!” Rosie exclaimed when I showed her. “It’s so pretty,” she awed as she opened it. It was a big, old-fashioned storybook, and Rosie was studying a whole page drawing of a princess. “We should buy it too,” I said, and Rosie gave me a huge smile.

The Shattered Afternoon “Mommy, I’m hungry…” Pretty’s small voice broke the silence of the vast Langford living room. She stood at the edge of the Persian rug, twisting her little fingers together, her dark curls falling into her eyes. Her sister, Beauty, sat on the floor, watching with wide eyes but saying nothing. If there is anything else, please let me know.” She mumbled before noting down from the book she was reading earlier.

Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

Esrath: “Okay.” I get up and brush my hair as I throw on my mother's Prom Dress that was a navy-blue cocktail dress that had an ombre affect to it, I threw on my black laced heels that went about my knee; I applied lipstick on my lips that were chapped but took it off to apply chap stick on them to soften them up, I then applied the plum shaded lipstick to my lips. My mother had given me her pearl set which included a pearl and Saphire bracelet and earrings that were laced with gold streaks, it also had a pearl necklace that was also laced with gold streaks in it and had real diamond shards inside of them. I then put some deodorant on and applied the Beyonce perfume that smelt like rosebuds

Even the carpets and various furniture Hael had were black. ‘Goddess, does he even have a personality?’ Lacey scoffed. ‘There’s no color, no anything in here.’ Across the room, a bookshelf caught my eye. It was stacked top to bottom with books, most of them old and without titles. I slid one from its spot, a thick text with navy blue binding etched in gold. The inside of the book read, ‘Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin.’ It wasn’t just the fact that Hael read books that made me pause, but the signed autograph on the inside cover.
