I voiced out. "And whose fault was that?" she said glaring at me. Your psychotic mind, I mumbled beneath my breath, just then she decided to drop one of her crutches, she tried to make it look like an accident but failed miserably. She's going to be the death of me, mumbled before adding a string of curse words to the statement. I hurried over to her and supported her falling figure by putting my hand around her waist leading her to the nearest table. I ignore how right it felt to place my hand around her waist or how she seemed to fit perfectly in my arms every time I carry her. I went to pick up the fallen crutch and made my way back to her.

It gave me a chills yet feel relieved from the pain. I close my eyes feeling relaxing, I guess it does hurt a lot even though originally I just pretend like it wasn't that painful. I didn’t notice the bruises getting worse. I fell asleep for a while. While I was in Violetland away from this reality someone took this opportunity to stare at my face to his heart content.

Violet said, rising from her seat, going back inside the prison without looking at the both ladies. They just watched her departing figure and shook their heads, “She's changing too much,” Ava said. “Yeah, she is, she's become even tougher,” Olivia agreed. After accomplishing their mission for the day, both ladies went home, Ava dropped Olivia off at her work place, while Ava went home, her husband was not back so she went to have some rest.

"Oh. Marcus Hale's office just called back. They had a cancellation. Can you be there in an hour?" I looked at her. At my fierce, loyal, perfect best friend. "Yes," I said. "Let's go destroy them." The elevator doors opened to the lobby. Miguel looked up, saw my face, and quickly looked away. Smart man. Because Violet Carter was done being the victim. Violet Carter was going to war.

She took a step forward, shaking her head. “No,” she said firmly. “There is no other path, Hertor. I’ve thought about this for a long time before coming to you.” “There is!” I shot back, frustration rising. “There’s always another way that doesn’t involve blood. There has to be.” “Not for me,” Violet replied, frustration threading her voice. “Not after everything he’s done. Not after everything he’s taken from me.” She moved closer, until I could smell her, that mix of strength and something dangerously familiar.

He whispered, ‘Ours. I knew then. I was completely gone. I had fallen harder than I thought possible for the girl I had once planned to reject after three months. I had fallen first, and I had fallen like an idiot. Like a wolf walking into a trap because it smelled sugar cookies. “What are you reading?” I asked instead. My voice sounded rough even to my own ears. Violet blinked as if she had forgotten the folder existed. “The research,” she almost whimpered, clenching her thighs.

She hissed and covered her eyes for a few seconds, then blinked repeatedly. When Violet's eyes adjusted to the lighting, she almost fell back in fear. She was surrounded by men and women, and there was no way out. "No…" she gasped in disbelief as she looked around with wide eyes. "Noo!" She screamed in disappointment and fell to the floor. "No, no, no, no, no," she shouted repeatedly and hit the ground in anger. "Please Luna, no one here wants to hurt you," Mila spoke softly as she approached Violet. "Everyone here cares about you Lun…"

Narrator's POV Violet eyes furrowed at Rachel's scream. She was oblivious to why she was screaming so loud when the fall wasn't enough to cause a sprain. She thought Rachel was a drama Queen, not until she heard someone call her name furiously. " Violet!" Jason's voice rang in the room, making Violet realize Rachel's ploy all along. Jason had watched Violet pushing Rachel and she had fell to the ground. His heart was filled with anger at Violet's cruelty.

That was one of the most insane ideas she had ever heard. When Morgana was in front of her, Violet stared into her eyes, and only then she realized the purple iris was really bright, like it was shining. "Let's see how long you can take it." Morgana said and waved her hand, and Violet felt her body whirr and bump against the table. The vases and books above it fell on the floor. A few candles were blown out when Violet flew above them. "Are you really going to mess all your office just to provoke me?" Violet said with a teasing smile.

“Mum, what are you doing!?” Clyde came too late because the damage was already done. Violet couldn't even feel the skin of her arm except for the burning pain. When the bodyguards let go of her, she couldn't remain on her feet either, and she fell on the floor, wincing from the sharp pain. “What have you done, Mum!?” Clyde sounded frustrated. “Did Violet offend you?” He came forward to pick her up. Seriously, Violet wanted to disappear. She just wanted to get out of this damned place.
