The Price of Abandonment

The Price of Abandonment

He should have stopped himself from getting swept up in the fleeting thrill of cheating if he was just going to regret it in the end. "No matter what you do, I won't relent. I don't feel anything for you anymore. Just sign the papers, Elias. Let's end this quietly. There's no need to drag it to court and ruin whatever dignity we have left. Don't force me to the point where I completely despise you, Elias." I went into the bedroom and gathered my most important belongings. Then, with a suitcase in hand, I walked away from the home Elias and I had shared for five years without looking back.

The Alpha King's Hated Slave

The Alpha King's Hated Slave

So, she snapped her mouth shut and prayed to the heavens for him not to be so angry at her. "You make forgiveness so simple. People who ganged up on you, and beat you up so badly you almost died. And there you are, forgiving them as if they committed a crime as simple as lying." He groaned. She wished she could see his face now to discern if he's angry or not. She swallowed tightly, "I felt like letting it go, Your Highness." "Why?" "The whole world is driving by a will, blind and ruthless. In order to transcend the limitations of that will, we have to learn to let go. That is the only way to move on."

highly recommend this book. it has everything and it is completed. Unlike some stories that are abandoned by the authors. I suggest never read an ongoing story because the author is milking u like cow. But read this story!!!!

This is a great author & wonderful gifts she gives us as she shares her stories with us! I'm so grateful! This one is exceptional! She even includes wonderful lessons learned throughout, without it being condescending or too much! She also wrapped up all of the characters lives at the end! LoveLove!

Love Me Then Destroy Me

Love Me Then Destroy Me

"Is there anything I can do for what's between us?" "There is no us, Adrian." Not cruel. Not sharp. Just completed. I breathed out slowly, feeling something I had been holding for months begin to release - not pleasantly, not in relief, but in the necessary way that things release when they have been held past their time. "Then this is the last conversation," I said. "Yes." I felt the old impulse rise in me - toward persuasion, toward the search for one more angle, one more phrase placed at the right moment that might shift the outcome. I felt it rise and I let it go. Just let it go. It had nowhere to go anymore.

THE GENIUS HE LET GO: Ex-husband’s Regret

THE GENIUS HE LET GO: Ex-husband’s Regret

Aurora continued, holding his gaze as she spoke, “No assets. No compensation. Nothing tied to his name.” Caspian exhaled softly, pinching the bridge of his nose in slight shock, “You’re sure about this?”. “Yes.” “What about Riley?” He delivered the question calmly, “What are you going to do about her?” That was the only moment Aurora’s fingers tightened slightly, crinkling the edges of the folder. Then she steadied, her eyes and voice becoming composed. “I’ll relinquish custody.” She scoffed slightly, “Ethan would never let me have her anyway.” She looked up at him, with quiet determination, “I just want to put all of this…all of them behind me. I want this done and over with.”

THE PRICE OF THEIR NAME

THE PRICE OF THEIR NAME

Leo Vance The hour of "quiet reflection" was a descent into a private hell. I lay on the massive, impersonal bed, staring at the high, vaulted ceiling of the Volkov Residence room. The shame of pushing Sasha away—my last lifeline—was a cold, burning weight in my chest. I threw her away for money. I chose the cage for comfort. But the emotional cost was immediately followed by the terrifying, insidious voice of relief: I don't have to worry about the rent. I don't have to pretend I'm strong.

The Billionaire Who Regretted Letting Me Go

The Billionaire Who Regretted Letting Me Go

“Do you understand how that ends for you?” “I understand precisely how it ends.” Adrian stood, buttoning his jacket with languid confidence. “It ends with you agreeing to terms that restore what Marcus lost, plus a premium for my trouble, and the custody motion quietly disappearing the moment ink hits paper. No court, no headlines, no five-year-old caught in the crossfire. Simple, really, once you stop being emotional.” “Get out of my city,” Alexander said, “before I make sure you regret ever hearing my son’s name.”

The Billionaire's Betrayal: A love Child

The Billionaire's Betrayal: A love Child

"LET. MY. FAMILY. GO!" "Hahahaha..." The bastard burst into a mocking laughter, his voice echoing in the air. "You really think I'd let them go just because you ask?" The grin spread over his face. "No, no, no. There is a price, Adrian. A big one." I was reluctant to dance to his rhythm, but I had no choice. At least, till I figured out a way to get out of there with my family and men, safe and unscathed. "What price?" I asked icily.

Let me Go! Mr Billionaire

Let me Go! Mr Billionaire

“We spent ages getting it at the proper real estate price. You said that we shouldn’t give special treatment. And now you want to change it back?” “It’s the least we can do.” “And not because you’re having feelings for her?” I glare at Kenny. “Just stop it. We’ll go back to Dad’s agreement.” “What about the money we’re wasting? You said we were not doing what we should with the land the store is on.” “Do you want to make Lucia homeless and jobless?” “No…” “Then we do it. I’m not having any arguments on this, Kenny. We should have left it well alone. Then I wouldn’t be having this problem now.”
