"You seem to be forgetting who you're talking to," Monique said in a low voice, her earlier upbeat mood completely gone. "Let me make it clear, in case you haven't figured it out yet. You may be the one who raised me, but I surpassed you a long time ago, Fabienne. I am a Princess of Hell. You're a mere baroness. You exist to die for me. Do you understand?"
"Y-yes, Princess. I understand." Fabienne wheezed. She knew this fact very well, and she had years to get used to it. Monique looked and acted nothing like the girl Fabienne used to know. But it was still a hard fact to swallow.
