“Do you know why the place is so secluded?” “What?” He tsked loudly, shaking his head. “You really didn’t pay attention to your history classes.” I was trying—really trying—not to lash out at, maim, or kill people around me, but James was working on my last fucking nerve. I was about to snap when he quickly provided, “A prison! Long ago, someone built an illegal prison that connects to a waterway.” “How sure are you about it?” I inquired. “This is the perfect plan,” he assured. “I know the helicopter extraction looks ridiculously classy for Mission Impossible movies, but let’s just say that you’re not Tom Cruise. So we would like to stick to my plan.”

When the door finally creaked open, a wave of decay and blood hit them in the face. Ragnar froze in place. The Alpha, who had been shouting about exposing my 'tricks', now stood with a pale face. He was nearly unable to keep his balance. The warden held up a torch and shook his head. “I’ve been running this prison for years. I’ve never seen a werewolf corpse rot like this. Who knows how long she's been locked up in here? “This cell should never have been in use! It shouldn’t have started leaking poisonous gas either. If I had known someone was in here, I would’ve arranged patrols and meals. At the very least, I would've made sure she didn’t rot to death without anyone knowing.”

Dean shrugged, following Jordon out the door, "take whoever you want, just stop them. Show them that this is not tolerated in my city. I want this to send a message," Jordon gave him a thumbs-up as he jogged down the hall and towards ops to begin planning the operation. Dean was about to reenter his office when he remembered that Aldert contact was downstairs and it would be best if he went and dealt with it now before he got neck-deep in paperwork. When he took over from his father he had not expected to inherit this much paperwork, yet here he was. He made his way back down through ops before taking another set of stairs down to the basement where they kept prisoners and held interrogation

James could not disobey orders and begrudgingly helped her. Scarlett finally felt satisfied. --- Nash and Felix arrived at the prison. After navigating through a maze of corridors, they reached the underground facility where high-profile prisoners were kept.

Working tirelessly in the harsh areas for five years non-stop would be enough to change their mind. When they were released, they would get a new lease on life - a new identity, PFs, a bank account with the wage they had earned in the five years, a job, and a place to live. If they toed the line, then well and good. Otherwise, there were always empty prisons waiting for new inmates. However, he needed precise locations before the police and army would form a plan to capture everyone in one shot to eradicate the underground force. Liam was the expert in that field and poised to plan and take on the entire project.

Dastan I finally get released from prison after Twelve days, I got the shit beat out of me everyday in there and no matter how much I begged the guards never moved me to a different cell but they never did, I know this has to be somebody’s doing because there is no way under normal circumstances that someone like me would be treated this way.

Now I was learning about him through the people who loved him, and somehow that made his absence feel sharper rather than easier. "Your father discovered that Project Renewal was no longer what it claimed to be," she said carefully. "At first, the program protected people who genuinely needed help. Witnesses escaped dangerous situations, families were relocated for their safety, and identities were changed to save lives." Her expression darkened. "Then powerful individuals began using it for different purposes. Some wanted to disappear from legal consequences. Others wanted to erase inconvenient truths." Detective Morris remained silent while listening.

But, couldn't you just assign the project to someone else and have them report to you with updates on the project?" He shook his head. "The project is quite personal to me. I wanted to see it through. Besides, I didn't fly across cities to come here. I've been living at Bronx before now..
