The Queen Of The South Romane & Geschichten

"She's been here six weeks and she's already the person my soldiers ask about first when they wake up shot. You know what that is, right? That's not a liability, big brother. That's a queen." I didn't answer. But something eased in my chest, one degree, and I sat the long watch out with my back to the wall and my gun across my knees and my brother breathing steady on the other side of a door my woman had locked with her own hand, and somewhere south of Atlanta, driving hard toward a sunrise he thought was going to save him, Isaiah Crowe did not yet know that he'd been given exactly one night, and that the King who'd let him have it was already sitting in the dark counting down the hours unti

He approached closer, his brows furrowing slightly and reaching out, his long fingers gently touching the silver Tear of Elyra resting against my collarbone. "When they arrive, Aria, they will see not only the King who has claimed his beast," he murmured, his voice dropping into a solemn, reverent tone that resounded inside the small chamber. "But they will witness the woman who had the courage to step into the jaws of hell to save me. I name you the Queen of the North. My Luna. My sovereign equal among every other crown in this world." A lump formed in my throat, hot and aching.

AUTHOR'S POV The heavy double doors of the Black Marble Cathedral swung wide, and the thunderous murmurs of thousands of gathered guests instantly vanished into a dead, reverent silence. Every visiting Alpha, pack leader, and high elder stood in breathless awe as Zaria stepped over the threshold into the nave, flanked by Luna Selene and Maya on either side. Sunlight filtered through the grand stained-glass windows, catching the intricate silver thread of her dark gown and illuminating the luminous aura surrounding her skin. She walked with effortless grace—no longer a guarded survivor hiding from her past, but the undisputed Silver Queen of the South.

"Wearing a crown. Coiled around a broken sword." Varek took one slow step back. Boots bolted to the floor. "That line is dead," Varek said. The words came out like gravel. "The Sovereign King and his wife burned in the Sector Four sweeps. Ten years ago. There was no child." "The girl is twenty," Tor said. Voice coming back now. Harder. Like he'd made a decision. "She grew up in Sector Four. She fights with the Sovereign form... you saw it yourself in the hallway. And her father isn't hiding from a shipping debt." Something moved in Tor's face. Something complicated and old and guilty. "He's a Royal Guard. He's been keeping her buried in the outer rim for ten years to keep her breathing."

I held his eyes as I walked down to him. I curtsied before him and he stood up and took my hands. He helped me to my throne beside his. The crowd stood up and everybody began to mingle. "You look breathtaking" I blushed at him. "You don't look bad yourself" A small group of people came up to us and bowed. "I'm Galen, sub alpha of the south. We pledge our allegiance to King Alcius and Queen Esmeralda" "Rise" I smiled at them and they left. The next group came and bowed.

The next second, Darryl looked around, and he was taken aback. 'Is she here as well?' A slender figure was sitting quietly, not far away, where people from the South Cloud World were seated. A dozen royal guards escorted her. She wore a long golden dress that accentuated her charming figure; her exquisite figures and noble aura were extraordinary. Besides that, she had an intimidating look, so no one dared to treat her with disrespect. She was Quincy, the Queen of South Cloud World. Quincy had become even sexier after Darryl had not seen her for a few years.

They all greeted once they came passed him, not once looking at his face. He said nothing as usual and walked away. "He is so sexy!" They exclaimed in whisper. The Death lord opened the door to the room looking at the gorgeous queen of the south, Diana. Diana is the governor of lake, popularly know as the south, a place in the kingdom of Narlands. She was often referred to as the governor of the south. She was given that position by the Death lord as she proved her worth by fighting and defeating the enemies in an attack that happened two years ago.

I repeated firmly. One of the women scoffed. "Sure, you do. And I'm the Queen of England," she said sarcastically. I had had enough of their snide remarks, and I decided to put them in their place. "Well, I'm sorry to break it to you, but you're not the Queen of England. And as for me, I happen to be Liam's wife," I said proudly. Their faces immediately changed, and they looked at me with shock and disbelief. "Wait, what?" one of them asked.

A flicker of recognition passed through his eyes, an acknowledgment of my noble lineage. King Edward’s gaze shifted toward Agnes as I continued, my words infused with a touch of pride. “And this, Your Majesty, is Agnes, the queen of Qarth, She possesses not only beauty that rivals the stars themselves but also a spirit as fierce as the most untamed wildfire.”

Zora held it out to me, "this belongs to you." I gingerly held the book between my fingers in fear it would disintegrate to ash if I was too rough. The leather on this book had been embroidered with purple thread—the image of a howling wolf's head being formed. If I listened closely enough, I could make out faint whispers coming from the book—a cacophony of different sounds urging me to do one thing: open the book. "The wings called to him the way the wolf calls to you," Zora explained. She moved to exit the room with one last statement, "Only one person would make a better queen than you and when it comes time for them to rule, you will be proud."
