Claimed By Wolves

Claimed By Wolves

It was the road home. When I had started this journey, home was the place from which I’d wanted to escape, but I found myself homeless and hungry and so tired I wanted to cry. I wished I had some water and could at least wash my face and make myself presentable, but there was no time for anything as a truck approached me. It was a red Toyota pick-up truck. Part of me wondered if I dreamed or if it was really my parents’ truck. As it drew closer, with the dark shade of red and the black logo of the diner covered the side of the truck. It really was Pa.

HIS BILLIONAIRE'S SECRET {MxM}

HIS BILLIONAIRE'S SECRET {MxM}

The title was simple, elegant, and deeply personal: Homeward Bound. The artwork depicted a warm, glowing house surrounded by trees, a pathway leading toward an open door. It wasn’t just any house. It was ours. Luca gasped. “Dad, that looks like our home!” Tears blurred my vision as I nodded. “Because it is,” I whispered. I opened the book, flipping through the pages. Each chapter told a piece of our journey, weaving together themes of love, resilience, and chosen family. The final page held the dedication, one I had written months ago but had never read aloud.

Beyond the Family's Shadow

Beyond the Family's Shadow

In her last life, she’d died with that money still burning a hole in her pocket. This time, it wasn't just numbers; it was her escape card. A pop-up blinked in the corner of the screen: "Destination: Private Island 'Sanctuary'. Owner: Julian Thorne. Confirm one-way ticket?" Julian Thorne. The name was whispered in the New York underworld, a curse uttered in hushed tones. The Godfather who held the East Coast shipping lanes in his fist, a tyrant with zero mercy. But to Elara, he was her lifeline.

A Steamy, Bumpy Ride Home

A Steamy, Bumpy Ride Home

Finally, my father pointed to the village entrance and bellowed, "Get out! And don't ever come back!" I grabbed my things and stumbled away, my body battered, my heart filled with hatred for every last person in that village. Just then, a bus pulled into the village. The driver saw the commotion and walked over curiously. He stopped me. "Aren't you Richard's daughter? What happened to you?" Seeing him, I poured out the whole story. The driver slapped his thigh. "Damn it. Those old bastards. How could they be so evil? Stick with me. I'll make sure you're okay."

Killed in Our Home, Reborn to Change Fate

Killed in Our Home, Reborn to Change Fate

The man who'd once schemed to kill me for money had been reduced to begging for cigarettes and a decent meal. I smiled and pulled a piece of paper from my bag. It was a copy of the blueprint I'd designed for our dream home all those years ago. The beginning of my nightmare in my past life. "No money. But I can give you this." I took out a lighter and set the blueprint on fire right in front of him, then let it fall to the floor as it burned to ash. Gabriel seemed like he wanted to say something, but he couldn't catch his breath. The heart monitor began to shriek.

Her Homecoming Is Our Farewell

Her Homecoming Is Our Farewell

As always, she'd watched him leave and reminded him to be safe on the road. Yet, when he recalled the mysteriously disappearing objects at home and what Neo said, fear overcame him once more. He'd run multiple red lights on the way home. When he arrived, he'd barely parked the car properly before rushing in. The lights were off. Everything seemed to be how he'd left it that morning. It was eerily silent. Charlie could even hear his own breathing. "Yuliana! Yuliana Beckett." There was no response, save for his own echo.

The Price Of Fate

The Price Of Fate

Then the road curved, and Edenwood opened before us like a nightmare that had run out of mercy. The van slowed almost to a crawl. Dead people were everywhere. Not lined neatly. Not gathered. Not tended. They lay where they had fallen. In the road. Near the broken fences. Beside the burned shells of homes. Halfway across open ground as if they had tried to run and had been caught before their feet could take them anywhere.

The Road To Your Heart

Ken stopped close to the edge, waiting for the next order. "Get out! The road trip is over" I froze. This was it. All my chances of survival will vanish the moment I would step out of the car. He'll do all the things he promised me before. I started seeing things as they are. I was doomed. There were no chances whatsoever to get out of here. There was no way someone will find me in this remote place. Not before it's too late anyway.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Road Home Peanut never let go of his hand. Not once. The moment Thomas whispered the word— "Home." She smiled. A smile so bright it almost erased the tears still clinging to her cheeks. Then, without asking anyone's permission— she started walking. Immediately. Very confidently. As though there had never been another choice. Thomas stumbled after her. Not because she was strong. Because she was determined. Honestly? Fair. Very fair. Reasonable actually. Behind them—

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

Outside, snow covered the road south—toward the border, toward the place where a black wolf had once stood in the moonlight and believed I was his. The snow erased the road. When morning came, the road would still be there. And so would I. THE END

Frequently Asked Questions

Whenever I watch films that treat everyday life like gentle poetry, 'The Road Home' comes to mind first. I went into it expecting a simple funeral drama, and what I got was a layered love story told in two distinct timelines. The inciting event in the present is straightforward: Luo Yusheng returns to his remote village because his father has died and the villagers are preparing the funeral. That sets up the narrator's role—people begin to tell him about his parents, and the movie folds back into the past.

In those flashbacks we see how his father fell headlong for a young city teacher, Zhao Di, who arrives to teach in the village. The film luxuriates in small, physical gestures—the shy walks, the snowy crossings, the quiet acts of devotion—that map out their courtship. Zhang Yimou stages these scenes with bright, lyrical color to contrast the gray, modern present. It’s less about plot twists and more about the texture of rural life: community, ritual, and how a single, steadfast love shapes the ordinary years. The movie ends on a note that feels like both an explanation for his father’s constancy and a gentle meditation on memory. I love how it makes something so simple feel monumental, and those red-scarf images stick with me long after the credits roll.
