Novel & Cerita The Rogue Prince Is Secretly An Omega Chapter 33

The words settle deep in my chest, warm and reassuring. "Thank you, Priscilla. That means a lot." She grins as she places a neatly cut huge slice of lemon cake on my tray. "I still find it very crazy, you know?" She steps back slightly. "You were human...you were rogue, albeit for a day, you were the weakest omega and suddenly you're–" "I know, I can't even believe it either." "I'm thinking, what did the prince see in you that made him decide you were his best bet? Was it Aries?" She ponders.

His old pack was attacked several times, and one specific time was quite traumatic for the Omega. No one warned them that they were under attack, or at least they didn't warn Aiden. The Omega was oblivious to what was going on outside in the woods. Aiden was going about his day. His blood ran cold when he came out of the kitchen and came face to face with a rogue. The Omega tried to run away, but it was pointless. He was too weak and too slow. He didn't even make it two steps away from the rogue before he was attacked…

I tightened my fist until my knuckles cracked, my Enigma pheromones lashing out and leaving microscopic scuff marks on the marble wall. Prince Ragnar... I thought, a cold, ruthless smile creeping onto my face. I will pay you a personal visit soon. I've always known I was meant to put an end to you. No one puts their hands on what belongs to me. It wasn't even an hour later when my phone buzzed with a text from Magnus:‘Already captured the prince.’ I smirked softly. I knew it would come to that. My feisty little Omega would never come quietly without throwing a furious, stubborn tantrum. He was infuriatingly stubborn, but fuck, he was beautiful.

My magic pulsed like a heartbeat. “I understand,” I whispered, fear fading into resolve. “I will survive. I will rise. I will claim my destiny.” “Good,” She said, her voice fading like a silver wind. “The desert waits. The world watches. The prophecy unfolds. Walk forward, Crystal, your time begins now.” The goddess vanished, leaving me beneath the moonlight. But I was no longer the broken omega. I was reborn with a stronger wolf and magic, and chosen by fate. When I opened my eyes, I was no longer in the desert. I was in a dark forest, alive with noise.

"That's not the same thing." "No." His eyes remained fixed on the horizon. "It isn't." I sighed. "I don't know what to think anymore because I spent twenty-one years believing I was unwanted because I was weak." I laughed bitterly. "And now I'm being told I was hunted because I was born." Kael looked at me. "You are still Rowan." I frowned. "What?" "Whether you're an Omega...or a prince." "...or even the last heir of a forgotten kingdom."

We worked in silence after that, and the lamp held its circle, and four days felt suddenly very small against everything that was moving simultaneously, and across the table the Crown Alpha of a wolf dominion in a dark turtleneck read his briefing files with his expression giving nothing away and his eyes finding mine every time I looked up, like he couldn't help it, like he'd stopped trying to help it, like some decisions had already been made and the only thing left was the days between us and the truth he still owed me. ~~~

The envoy was an omega. Old, silver-haired, with eyes that held centuries of knowledge and absolutely no fear. She walked into the council hall like she owned it. Not with arrogance. With certainty. Her name was Maelis, and she had traveled three weeks through rogue territory alone to sit at a table full of wolves who had never seen an outsider omega treated as an equal. The old guard council members didn't know where to look. Some stared at her silver braid and her travel-worn cloak. Some stared at the table. No one spoke.

Stop fighting me! "No, you stop! You're embarrassing me in front of the rogues," I complain and grab his arm to bite down as hard as I can until he's groaning and agreeing to let me go. And that’s when I finally turn to the rogues and take one step forward. Only one. And just like that, the rogues go down. They kneel, “I am the Fire Omega. You won’t be able to take me or anyone I care about, no matter how hard you try. I can and WILL set all of you on fire with a simple thought.”

The crowd erupted into loud cheers. From his big alpha's throne, my stepfather, Alpha Cornelius, stood up. His face was so cold. “The wolfless omega has disgraced this sacred ceremony,” his voice boomed, silencing the laughs. “She has caused a disturbance with her very existence. She will be purified in the silver chamber tonight. Perhaps the silence will help her understand her place.” A cold fear, worse than any pain, froze my blood. The silver chamber. It was a small box lined with pure silver. Weaker wolves, especially omegas, didn't come out alive. They called it purification. Everyone knew it was an execution ground.

“How are you suddenly quiet now?“ I blink repeatedly and swallow hard in a futile attempt to calm the storm raging inside me. “What… should I do… with this video?“ I stammer. He steps closer and snatches the shirt from my chest, leaving me standing there in only my bra and panties. “The thing is, your sister can’t measure up to you in bed… so I still want a taste of you whenever I want. I can’t get over that addictive Omega scent that easily.“ So… Mirena and Rylan have been sleeping together before now, and I never realized it. Yeah… I have a highly seductive and addictive scent of pine and jasmine—enough to make even the strongest Alpha go feral, especially on the night of the full moon whe
