The Revenge of Billionaire's Wife

Loid Taylor is a wealthy billionaire, the only child of Larry and Berna Taylor. Their family is famous all over the world because they have many businesses that have branches in different countries.

Because Loid’s parents want him to have a wife and they have a grandchild, Loid is stressed by his parents’ wishes.

He went to London for a vacation because he was stressed at the thought of how he could accommodate his parents. He is thirty-five years old, but he is still not getting married because he is super busy with their businesses.

Unexpectedly, he meets a woman who will make his heart beat.

In the restaurant…

“Carina, please bring the customer’s order to table 5. I’ll just do something.” Said his co-worker.

“All right,” Carina brought the customer’s order to table 5.

Carina didn’t notice that there was a little wet on the floor, so she slipped and the food she was carrying was out of balance. She was very embarrassed, and her companion, Dina, immediately approached and stood her up. The male customer approached, obviously worried about what had happened. Her manager scolded her for not being careful. She just bowed down and cried. She knew she was also guilty because she was not looking where she was going.

“I’m sorry, sir, for what happened. I’ll just take your order again. I’ll just pay for the food that was thrown away.” She apologized to the man.

“Oh! No worries, it’s okay. Or just order me food again and don’t pay for it. You didn’t mean to because there was a little wet on the floor.” The man answered.

She couldn’t answer right away. She was just looking at the man and she could tell in her mind that this man was very kind. I hope everyone is like him.

“I’m sorry, sir, for the circumstances of what my employee has done. I will just tell her that next time she must know what she was doing and serving the customer’s order.” The manager said.

“It’s fine. She wasn’t her fault. I saw what happened. Just forget it, I will wait for my next order. And please, tell her she will be the one who will serve me. Thanks!” answer elegantly man.

“Carina, that customer is smart. He is handsome and very elegant. The lucky woman he can marry looks rich!” said Dina.

"Yeah! I don't think he's that kind. I've encountered a lot of customers here, but he's the only one I've encountered that even if it's my fault, it's okay with him. He's not angry.” Carina replied.

Carina has been working at a restaurant in London for almost two years. Her family is not rich but because of her hard work, she can find a good job. She tried to apply abroad and fortunately; she passed and could work there in London.

There she met Dina, who is also a Filipina. She met at the restaurant where she works, so they became close friends. They are both single. Many make them feel like they are British and European guys, but it doesn't last long because it's just a fling-fling. Nothing lasts long, so they focus on working to send money to their family in the Philippines.

"Carina, he said at table 5 that you would serve him his new order."

“Ha?! Why me? I am already ashamed of him. You can do it, Dina,” Carina refused.

"Hey! You are the one the customer wants to serve him. That’s what our manager told me. Do you want to be scolded again or will you be fired?” Her co-worker answered.

She had no choice but to follow what her co-worker told her. She also didn't want to be fired because it was difficult to live in a foreign country, especially in London. She just sighed and then brought the customer's order.

When she got to the table, the man was looking at her. She just smiled even though that smile was forced just so that the customer wouldn't notice that she was nervous.

"Here is your order, sir. Enjoy your meal. I just want to say sorry for what I have done lately.” Said Carina.

The man smiled at her. “Thank you! Oh! No worries, it’s alright, it’s not your fault. By the way, what is your name?” she was surprised when he asked her name.

“Ah! Carina, sir,” she replied to the man.

“Oh! Nice name. Nice to meet you, Carina.” The man raised his hand to shake hands.

Carina didn't move immediately because she was stunned by the man's treatment of her.

"Are you alright?" the man asked again, but he still did not remove his hand.

“Ah! Sorry sir, nice to meet you too. But I don't know your name.” Carina asked while shaking hands with the man's hand.

“Oh! I'm sorry I lost my mind. I am Loid Taylor but you can call me with my first name Loid.” He replied to Carina.

“Ok sir Loid, I'm going back to my job. Enjoy your meal sir.” Smiling Carina said once turning around and back to the kitchen.

She can't be bothered by what happened. She can't believe that a customer will talk to her because usually the customer she encounters is arrogant, but that customer is different. Her memory came back when Dina tapped her.

“Hey! What happened? Why are you stunned there?” she asked curiously.

"You really can't believe it Dina, did the customer ask me what my name was, and he also said his name?" Carina shuddered when she told that story.

“Oh! Really?! Maybe he is your destiny?” Dina was annoying her.

“Destiny? Can't we just meet and have another? It looks like we are far apart. He looks rich and I feel that.”

“Oh! You know, he might be the answer to your difficulty. Haha!”

"You're terrible Dina. It looks like you want to pimp me out of that man, ah!" disgusted Carina said.

“Oppss! Sorry, Carina. That I'm just excited about what the outcome will be in case he takes an interest in you.” Dina said.

As the days went by, Dina and Carina always had a routine of serving food to customers. Loid, the man who introduced her, no longer goes there. She thought that the man might never come back. She was suddenly sad. Of course, even the first time they met, it showed kindness to her. She was not paid for the damages she did. She just sighed.

“Oh! Your aura is sad now. Have you received any news from the Philippines again? Are your brothers asking for money again?” Dina asked.

“Ah! No, I'm not sad. I'm just lazy to work.”

“Hey! I seem to know the reason, what is the reason, or who is the reason?” Dina annoyed her.

"Shut up there. Maybe our manager can hear us talking again."

“Haist! You know he hasn't been to a restaurant in a long time. Where is your prince charming? Why can't he eat here anymore? Isn't he offended by throwing away the food he ordered?”

Carina was even sadder because her friend seemed to have felt sorry for her. So she thought maybe that was the reason, but why was she so kind when he asked what my name was and he introduced himself to me with a smile? She gasped again.

"Hey! Don’t be sad so obviously. You’re affected that he no longer shows up here and eats at the restaurant. Maybe he's just busy, or maybe he's already gone home to the Philippines.” Said Dina.

“Haist! All right, I won't think about him anymore. I will just focus on my work.” Carina replied.

A few hours later, a man entered the restaurant with two women. They looked at the door and Carina. She was surprised when the man who entered was Loid with two women. Carina suddenly felt a pain in her heart. She thought he was not a sensible man; he was just hiding something. She was annoyed when she saw Loid with two women.

While her co-worker was looking for her because Loid requested she serve food to them.

Carina doesn't want to be the one to serve, because she will only get upset when she sees Loid with women. But she was pressured by her co-worker because that was the customer’s command until the manager they had talked to her. She had no choice but to follow her manager because she also didn't want to lose her job. Even against her will, she served them. When their order was cooked, she started serving their food.

The last drink she served, he deliberately threw on the dress the woman was wearing.

“Ouch! What happened to you?” disgusted said the woman.

“Oh! I’m sorry ma’am, I didn’t mean to drop the juice in your dress.” Carina all apologized to the woman.

“Are you careless? You know I am going to get the food but you give those drinks to me?” the lady customer was so angry.

“Calm down, Lizel!” Loid stops her.

“What?! You want me to come down! You see what this stupid server did to my clothes? And by the way, why do you bring us here to this cheap restaurant?” Lizel voice arouses.

“Calm down please, everyone is watching with you!” Loid stops her again.

“I don’t care. This stupid girl is very careless. Where is your manager?”

“Ma’am, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to pour the juice in your dress. It was an accident.” defended Carina.

The manager of Carina arrived.

“Yes ma’am, what happened?”

“Are you the manager?”

“Yes, madam,” the manager replied.

“Then you fire this careless and stupid server. You know what she did to my clothes.” Lizel said angrily.

“Oh! I’m sorry for what my server has done to you! Can we calmly talk about this problem? I know she has a mistake, but can we fix this issue?” The manager said calmly.

“Yes Lizel, the manager was right. She already asked for an apology from you.” The other girl interrupts.

“Are you with them, Pia?”

“No, I am just being fair. Though she accidentally poured the juice into your dress doesn’t mean she got immediately fired. You must talk in a good way so that it will be fixed.” answered Pia.

“That’s enough Lizel, the server already said sorry, then let’s move on. We will go to another restaurant if you don’t like here.” Loid protecting the server.

“But we already ordered, and how about my clothes?”

"I'll pay our order and buy clothes at the near boutique we will pass by," Loid replied.

“Hmm... I’m not done with you, girl. You are lucky because Loid is so kind.” she threatened Carina.

So they left. Carina couldn't move from her experience that day. She wanted to cry, but she just held back the tears in her eyes and she just bowed down. It was another traumatic experience that she had to encounter war freak customers.

She just went to the counter area. She did not know that Loid had approached her to pay for their order.

“I’m sorry for what had happened earlier. I will forgive my comrades first. Lizel has an attitude, but she is kind.” Loid explained.

She was surprised by what Loid said. He apologized for what he did with her earlier.

“Ha?! It's okay sir, it's my fault too. I'm sorry for what happened.” Carina replied.

"It's okay," Loid replied, turning around and leaving with the two women.

Carina doesn't know how she feels. Her chest tightened because she had made another mistake. She regrets why she felt jealous when she saw Loid with others. She was just too assuming, so she was hurt, even if they weren’t.
