Or that had been the plan. As soon as Violet started toward the door with the book in her hand, she heard the doorknob turn and the door started to open. Panic slammed into Violet as she looked around desperately, but there was nowhere for her to hide. Her throat closed and her stomach twisted and she froze in place as the door opened wider. Emily hurriedly slipped inside, closing the door behind her. It looked like Violet wasn’t the only one sneaking around.

It didn’t take long for Jack to show up, “The helicopter is ready, we can leave right now.” ... Bee was sitting on her bed flying lazily the paper planes she made; after she pretended to be sleeping no one showed up nor disturbed her. It was hitting half past twelve, her stomach was rumbling out of hunger but like before, she had no will to eat. She sat there trying her best to do things and keep herself distracted from thinking about him. Bee thought to herself that Ryan said that he will be back in two days to keep her heart, without knowing that the man was already in New Orleans and was just minutes away from home she stood up on the bed determined.
