Percy stared at me with angry eyes and grabbed my wrist pulling me alone with him. “H- hey what do you think you’re doing?!” struggling in my heels and this dress was a really bad idea. I glanced at where we were now, a narrow hallway with soft light which lit the pace. “Let me go!” Percy didn’t stop until he was at the far end. In a swift motion I felt myself twirl and my back gently collide with the wall. His hands didn’t let go of my wrist and with a single tug both my wrist were pinned on the wall above my head. He was very close and his breath spread across the small space between us.

With some difficulty, I turned away from the power’s call, and opened my eyes to find Percy staring down at me with his boots positioned just inches away from my throat. “Yield,” he said calmly, and for a few moments I considered the proposition. I could get out of this. It wouldn’t be easy, but I had come out of the worst scrapes with even more dire odds that would make my fight with Percy look like child’s play. Still though, I nodded silently and I saw his eyes widen in surprise.

A loud growl made me flinch and duck. “SUB!!! STOP DAYDREAMING AND GET TO WORK!!!” The young gamma roared at me. “Y-yes... young gamma. I’m sorry.” I squeaked out and returned to my task, my eyes on the floor. I wondered how Percy was doing, I couldn’t sneak out to the clearing lately and the last time I saw him he looked like he had gotten into another fight. Damn cat, he was fearless it seemed. Not like me, I sighed. I’m a damn coward who let his mate get sold and shipped off to sex traders... my heart sank, and regret filled my soul. If only... I shook my head, remembering the last thing she said to me.

His eyes darted between me and Percy like he was expecting me to suddenly lunge at her. I didn’t plan to fight. Not until I felt Salvatore’s big, warm hand press against my lower back, pushing me forward. "No one will stop you," he whispered, his voice a low growl only I could hear. Percy saw her chance to attack. With a high-pitched scream, she launched herself at me like a rabid animal, her perfect pink nails gleaming as they came straight for my face. I moved just in time, but not fast enough to stop her sharp claws from scratching across my cheek. The sting of the cut sent a fiery jolt through me, and something inside me snapped.

Cara knew that she could be punished for that, but she wasn't going to be used around like a piece of rag and not stand up to speak for herself. "Then why are you here?" Percy shouted and poured the wine on her dress."Stop acting as if you are not worse than your mother!" He yelled and dropped the glass on the ground. The glass shattered into pieces, and Percy didn't have enough. He grabbed her hand and pulled her up. He held her throat and grinned wickedly. "I hate you so much that I wish you died any moment from now, but that'd be too easy for you, right?" He chuckled.
