She Runs with Wolves
I was about to give up, my eyes and brain both exhausted, when a single word, inked in black and underlined, caught my eye: signs.
I held the book up, looking at it closer. There was a drawing alongside the title, a circle with triangles coming off it, and, beneath that, a curved line that looked as though it might signify the sea.
Beneath, it read:
Signs may present themselves for many reasons. One season, my heather did not flourish as it should have. Later, a dear friend of mine, Elizabeth Young, revealed to me that she had been taken ill. These signs will always become clear, in time.
