The Walking Dead Alpha Daughter Novels & Stories

She couldn't stomach the fall—from Alpha's wife to a gambler's woman, overnight. She was remarrying. Alpha Alaric of the Ashford Pack—one of the most powerful Alphas the werewolf world had ever known. "The ceremony is complete." The Elder closed the documents and looked at me and Ivy. "The two children will each choose a parent." In my past life, Ivy chose our mother first. I stayed with our father. For the next ten years, I fought thousands of battles in underground wolf pits for him. Every single one was a blood-soaked brawl inside a silver cage, facing the most vicious fighters that desperate gamblers from other territories could throw at me.

Alpha Rowland stood at the center, his posture calm, but unreadable. I stepped in. All conversation died. “Mira,” Alpha Rowland said, voice calm but commanding. “Come forward.” I walked to the center of the room, standing tall despite the weight of their gazes. My fingers itched with nervous energy, but I kept them steady. “This is the daughter of Samantha,” Rowland announced. “You all know the story. What you may not know is the truth that time tried to bury.” One of the elders leaned forward, eyes narrowed. “Are you claiming her as your own, Alpha?”

“Like father, like daughter.” “This is James’s legacy,” he said, his voice piercing through the silence. He swept his hand roughly, gesturing around us. "A broken kingdom. A broken Alpha. And his daughter,” His cold eyes met mine. “This quivering girl. His successor. His priceless gem.” I was about to recoil when he grabbed me by the arm and pulled me forward, pulling me over the stone floor until I was kneeling in front of him. He held me up by my hair like some prized trophy, forcing the court to look.

I still crossed their borders and then killed another alpha in front of them. “Ah yes, Alpha Damion. The eldest son to the first Alpha's daughter born in decaids. That must make you the second Alpha's daughter to be born as of late and to the same pack, no less. Though Alpha Damion has tried to dissuade many, his efforts are in vain. The truth is out. Your ability to take on an alpha at such a time makes more sense." Turning, the woman started for the door to my room, not bothering to wait for any kind of response from me.

His claws were out and a low growl escaped his mouth excitingly. “You’re Lucia Holt. You’re his daughter…you’re Alpha Dalton’s daughter,” Those were the last words I heard before the man sliced my throat open with his powerful sharp claws. The pain was sudden and the shock was instant. My hands flew instinctively to the place of injury as I tried to stop the bleeding but it was too late. I was dying and could not do anything about it. I fell to the ground in agony and the last thing I heard before death took me away was the laughing of the rogue werewolf who had slayed me.

If there was a pack more feared than my own, and truly more ruthless it was Blackwater. Just then I heard the Alpine Luna's voice again as she passed by us toward Alpha Kent. "Evelyn, it is time you meet the man who will be your mate. Come along." Her mother walked toward Alpha Kent with open arms and a smile, they were clearly on good terms. I turned my head to see all the life drain from Evelyn's face only to be replaced with terror. Her father, Alpha Alexander just looked defeated.

I began, my voice even and measured, “There was once a pack. An Alpha and his Luna had two daughters. They had their first shift on the same day. To create a ‘perfect heir,’ they took the sacred potion that should have been split between them… and gave the entire dose to one daughter. The other one survived the agony of the shift all on her own.” The studio was so quiet I could hear the cameras whirring. I continued, “Later, during the harshest of the trials, a rabid bear charged at the ‘prodigy.’ It was the neglected daughter who threw herself in front of her sister, taking the full force of the attack. Her wounds were deep enough to show bone. But the victor’s crest, the roaring applause…

“Free?” She nodded, then stood and began to pace slowly, arms folded behind her back like she was reciting a tale she knew too well. “My pack. The Everglen.” Her eyes flicked to me. “We border your woods. Just a few miles southeast of the old riverbeds.” I frowned, trying to recall. The Everglen... I’d heard the name before. “You’re saying you know the alpha enough to command his army?” “I’m her daughter, actually,” she corrected. “My mother’s the current Alpha. And yes, we’ve been watching Wolfdom for years now. Watching Don…well, Hunter now, isn’t it?” She rolled her eyes.

The first thing I learned about being a queen was that it felt a lot like being a corpse. Cold, discarded, and waiting for the earth to take what was left. I was only six years old the night my father, the Alpha King, decided I was a defect. I can still see the North Star pinned between black branches as I ran until my lungs burned like swallowed coals. Behind me, the Great Hunt wasn’t chasing a deer. They were chasing me.

LEON'S POV: Bandit lurched forward in my head, causing a deep growl to erupt from my chest. “Oh, calm down. I knew Lucy when we were kids. My mom was friends with the late Luna. Sometimes Luna would let me and Lucy play when Kragen was out on business,” Tricia explained. One hand rested on her hip, and her eyebrows raised at me. “So, you’re saying that Lucy is the Alpha's daughter?” I asked, narrowing my eyes.
