I didn’t know that. I nod and look around, realizing that there are a lot of injured wolves and warriors lying on the field. Cohen has already started going around to triage them. I stand tall, pushing my shoulders back. This is my pack. I am their Luna and Guardian. They need me and I will be here for them. I turn and begin helping Cohen triage the injured, getting them sent to the pack hospital. Once he sees me taking that on, he begins pulling the mildly injured warriors together to guard the borders in case we’re attacked again.

He placed it in front of me and flipped it open to a faded illustration. A woman stood in the center of a battlefield, her hands raised. Around her, warriors knelt—not in submission, but in awe. My breath caught. Luca tapped the page. “They called them Lunari. Wolves born with the power of the moon itself.” I shook my head. “That’s just a myth.” Luca’s eyes met mine. “Then explain what you did last night.” I opened my mouth, but no words came. I can’t explain it. Because it hadn’t just been the earth shaking. I had felt something—an invisible force, a pulse of power running through my veins.

The Darkmoon warriors were having breakfast at a table set up for them, near the packhouse, and when they saw Luna's eyes on them, they got up and greeted her, respectfully. She smiles at them seductively and approaches, placing her hand on the chest of one of them. - Are you all well served here? Do any of you need anything else? - she asks with second and third intentions. The warriors smell the arousal in the air and become uncomfortable. The warrior she was touching, steps back, and politely says: - Yes luna, your mate, the alpha, received us well. She frowns in disappointment, and turns her back on them.

"Keep the line! Don't let them break the center!" In the heart of the chaos, Luna stood within a shimmering dome of light. Wounded warriors were dragged into her circle, and she moved among them like a spirit of mercy. "It’s okay," she murmured to a bleeding soldier. She placed her small hand over a jagged gash. "The light remembers you. The dark is just a shadow." The wound closed, leaving behind a faint scent of jasmine. But the darkness pushed back. Kaelen carved a path through the defenders, his mechanical arm moving with terrifying, hydraulic speed. He grabbed a warrior by the throat and tossed him aside like a ragdoll.

"Moonwhisper's rejected Luna..." "They say she burned her own mating bond..." "Look at the way she carries herself—like an Alpha..." Callista squeezed my arm as three broad-shouldered warriors materialized from the smoky haze. The tallest—a russet-haired Beta with battle scars crisscrossing his neck—leaned in with a wolfish grin. "Care for some company, lovely Luna?" His scent—pine and musk—rolled over me. Callista arched a brow. "Oh, we absolutely—"

And I will make them pay. The lightning flashed again, illuminating the frozen battlefield in stark silver. I felt the Moon Goddess’ presence strengthen within me, binding my anger and determination into a force that would shake even the strongest of enemies. Alpha Dane continued his onslaught, unstoppable, but I knew the war had truly shifted. With the Luna power now fully awakened, I was no longer just another warrior in this chaos—I was a force of nature, a predator of divine strength, and the tide of this war would bend to me.

Damon snapped. "Leave, " Damon said dangerously The messager bowed mockingly and turned to leave. At the door he stopped. Oh , he added lightly. Your Luna walks alone at night . The door slammed shut behind him. For the first time fury cracked Damon's control. Double the guards, Damon snapped now. As the council scrambled into action, Damon remained still his mind racing. Renegedes knew too much. About the boarders. About the pack. About his marriage. As the fire flickered low, Damon realised the truth with chilling clarity. This war was not just for land.

Alpha Burst, ever the attentive scribe, transcribed Luna's words with meticulous care. Why is he reacting this way? “Oh, Dira, you don’t want to go there. You don’t know what you are saying,” he says. His breath was fanning my face. “You also don’t know what you are saying or what you are implying I will be forced to do,” I clap back. “You don’t understand that you are my Luna, and you need to be by my side,” he is almost pleading with anger still very much present. “You don’t know me, Ryker, and I mean it,” with renewed strength in my voice, “You fuck around, and you will find out. I am a Warrior first before I am someone else’s Luna,” I say firmly.
