Julian growls as Hayes walks over with a long dark rectangular wooden box. "You can try." Declan spits venomously. Julian's unclamps the box hinges opening the top. I can't see what's inside until he takes it out. When I see the object, complete and utter horror swells within me. A whip, a long leather whip. Declan's eyes widen in recognization and for a split second fear crosses them before he sets his face back to neutral. Wes, on the other hand, looks at Declan and then the whip with worry-filled eyes.

“He has seen it all! We need to come with a better approach. One that is not outdated.” Gad was a big guy but he knew that if he wanted to fight me, he was no match for my strength. “Don't fight it Gad. Sadly her fidgeting hasn't dislodged it but I don't really care that much – I don't need an excuse to use it on her after all. Unlike most of our toys, whips can actually do real damage with any accidental hit that misses its target. It has taken me years to perfect throwing whips. Beth has been a good teacher, making sure I knew what I was doing before she ever let me near anyone with it. I've only had a week to pick up my practice again so I won't over do it, for both
