Hello Readers, We've finally updated Wonderings and replaced all of the repeated chapters with the proper chapters. Now that Wonderings have caught up to the present, we'll be working on Shards of Time. It'll take about two days atleast to catch up with Shards of Time since it'll be a bit more difficult for us. "But time waits for no one, Duke Thorne. Especially not for your son." The general turned and walked out of the temple, his footsteps leaving faint, inky stains on the white marble. I ignored him. I ran to the pedestal where the candle had burned. The wax was no longer white; it had turned into a dark, translucent substance that looked like an hourglass. Inside the wax, tiny golden grains, Cian’s seconds, were slowly falling from the top to the bottom. "How do we stop it?" I demanded, looking at the Silver Weaver. "You said this was a sanctuary!"

He looked at my eyes seriously and that also made me more serious to listen to him attentively. "The Clepsydra. An hourglass but not the usual one. It contains water instead of sands. That's what they used to manipulate time," he said while looking at me directly at my eyes. Clepsydra? I haven't heard that word yet. I don't even have an idea of whatever it is if Cayden didn't tell me what it is. It's just new to me and just by how mysterious its name is, I know that it'll give us a hard time having it or whatever he's planning to do with it. But wait... Did he just tell me things about time?

"But P’Dew... is it really possible? Can the army, or the politicians, actually abolish thousands of years of tradition just like that? Because of a few headlines and some political maneuvering?" P’Dew’s expression turned serious. He stepped back, looking out at the sprawling gardens of the palace, the ancient spires reaching toward the sky. "It wouldn't happen immediately," Dew answered thoughtfully. "The monarchy is an institution built on faith and habit. You can't just flip a switch and turn it off. And no, they couldn't do it alone; they would need a massive shift in public perception, a total collapse of the people's loyalty."
