Sure, I felt her aura getting stronger as time passed, but when she shifted, I couldn’t believe my eyes! She was almost pure white! A pure white wolf is unheard of, and personally, I’ve never seen one - until now, and I instantly knew what that meant, thanks to that annoying, rambling, secret little birdie that likes to stay hidden in the basement. It’s the sign and color of our Queen, and, more importantly, this Queen is also our savior. She will be the one who is going to free us from the bullshit regime that we have been in for decades.

The woman's eyes were full of fire, as though she was engulfed by rage. "Anyway, have you eaten already?" the woman added before her eyes finally shifted towards me. "And who is this supposed to be?" She pointed in my direction with a disgusted look on her face. "Her name's Queen. Bright responded, "I told you about her, and we've already eaten." The woman glanced at me before she raised one of her eyebrows. "Oh, so you're the stupid woman who let a stranger come inside the room and let my child get stabbed."

“Especially about the witch’s origins, how this began, and why they are after your father and brother.” “They are basing all of this on the fact that they don’t believe you can be Queen though? I mean that seems like a lot to leave up to chance, I’d bet they are going to kill you too.” A growl erupts behind me while Quai is talking and I just roll my eyes. “Like hell..” Ryn mutters. “You know what I mean,”Quai defends as he lays back down.

“Is the agency keeping the rights that comes with the Masked Queen, are we going to have a new Masked Queen now that you’re leaving, do you know who it will be?” Letting out a snort, she replies. “Wow hawk-guy, looks like there’s a lot on your mind.” She chuckles and I force a small laugh along with her. “No, they’re not going to have a new Queen. It was a hard, long, and gruelling fight but I was able to retain the rights of the Masked Queen. And yes, at some point I will reveal my identity but right now, it’s not that time.” “F**king wow!”

There was so much chaos and suffering I was beginning to feel nauseous. "Clean blood, saline, beetroot, charcoal, and some other herbs to treat the wolfsbane. You got her here in time my Queen. Once this runs through her system she will wake and start healing. All we can do is wait now." A kind woman with an easy smile replied to me. "I'm Dr. Williams. If you have any questions I'm happy to serve you." The woman with silky brown hair, piercing blue eyes, and perfectly tone skin bowed her head to me.

Then, an elderly woman I had never seen before, her hair completely white, her back hunched and her eyes eerily vacant. My heart slammed against my ribs. “Who the hell allowed all of you in here?” I hissed, my shock twisting quickly into fury. My gaze locked on Freya, knowing this was her idea. “Get out of my room now. I did not summon any of you. If you wished to see me, you should have asked.” Freya didn’t flinch. Instead, she turned slightly toward the old strange woman, “This is the new Queen, Our King’s mate, Winter. Ignore her outburst, she’s indeed childish and prone to tantrums.”

I was their fucking maid a few days ago. Something was obviously weird. I turned about to run away when my eyes caught something that made even my heart stop. My hair.... It was white.

Margot replies, shrugging a shoulder. “The Queen,” Auden says slowly to measure Margot’s reaction, “is ill. She’ll be in her room all night with her sister. She is so ill that she’s not to be disturbed at all. By anyone.” “Anyone?” Margot asks, raising one eyebrow. “No one is to disturb her,” Auden says slowly, sticking to the story and leaning forward to stare Margot straight in the eyes, ensuring that she takes his meaning. “And it would be helpful if that story were to spread, subtly, through the banquet.” The sly smile on Margot’s face grows minutely, letting him know that she understands.

She insisted that if I disliked it, I need only say so instead of falsely accusing her. Ethan frowned and reproached me, saying Ella had risen early to prepare the elixir and would never harm me, and that I should not create needless drama. As I watched him instinctively position himself at her side, I realized something with devastating clarity. In this manor, I was not the queen. I was the outsider. I had thought I was his chosen queen. I was merely the placeholder.

I believe the white witch was enraged that day.” “Did you just say white witch?” Dylan checked. “Yes, that is how the owner is referred to.” “Are you talking about a real witch or something?” “To be honest, I don't know, but what I noticed was that she only wore white clothes and had white hair.” “Is she really that old?” “She appears to be very young; no one knows anything about her. She's a mystery, but she's also the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.” He couldn't believe such a thing existed, but whatever it was, it wouldn't hurt to see for himself.
