Broken by One, Desired by All
FWOOSH.
A massive, localized gale of golden wind tore out from my palms, splitting the copy's silver fire right down the middle like a pair of invisible scissors. The flames roared past my sides, completely scorching the willow trees behind me into black charcoal, but I stood right in the center of the clearing, completely untouched.
The heat washed over me on both sides, so close I could feel it singe the hair on my arms, but not close enough to burn. The smell of smoke and burnt vegetation filled my nostrils.
