Scattered on the Wind

Scattered on the Wind

Dean held his phone, frozen in place as the dial tone buzzed, sounding almost like the abrupt halt of his own heartbeat. A wave of crushing disappointment and panic swept through him. Autumn in Lindt was bleak with grey skies, endless rain, and the kind of chill that seeped into one’s bones. It mirrored exactly how Jake felt at that moment. For months, he had been relentless, like a tireless dog, throwing every trick he could think of into the chase—pursuing, cornering, and never letting up.

My Seven Gorgeous Women

My Seven Gorgeous Women

Mo gritted his teeth and turned to look at Einswald. “Master Baloo, please do something.” Einswald walked over with his cane and said expressionlessly to Luke, “Sir, let me give you some advice.” “You?” Even though Luke had a look of contempt on his face, he could still vaguely guess that Einswald was someone extraordinary. He repeated what he did just now and roared, “Wind!” Immediately, a strong wind was released from his sleeves and went straight to Einswald.

The Whispers in the Woods

The Whispers in the Woods

"Brodie has always had the uncanny ability to project himself into my mind. However, not long ago, I managed to reach out to him from an incredible distance—further than he has ever been able to project himself. It’s not just Brodie; Jackson seems to possess a sixth sense about my emotions, often sensing what I’m feeling even when I try to conceal it. Lately, I’ve been pondering whether it's them who hold the true power and not me. Of course, the entire pack can communicate with one another, but what if this ability extends to me as well, owing to my connection with Milly?" I turned to look at him, but his eyes were closed to me, lost in serene contemplation. He seemed so peaceful in that mo

Of Wolves and Magic

Of Wolves and Magic

I didn’t think much of it when I heard the bells ringing above the front door, but then her scent hit me, wafting in on the early autumn breeze like smoke from a bonfire. My breathing quickened, and I felt my mouth begin to salivate as the wolf in me pulled toward her like a dog on a chain. Taking a quick glance around, I pulled my flask out of my jacket pocket, sneaking a sip, pretending I couldn’t see the judgmental eyes of one of the moms from Alex’s school. It didn’t used to sting when people looked at me like shit under their shoe. I was used to it after growing up as Pete Hawthorne’s son. No one ever expected me to be any better than I was, so I didn’t care about trying.

The Kind Villain: A Legend of Woof-Woof

The Kind Villain: A Legend of Woof-Woof

The thunder spreads abroad, or particularly, thunderstorms cover the Earth! My enchantment made me immovable. And when I finished the spell, I closed my spellbooks—beholding my world. The blinding light is gone. There are only refreshing clouds in the sky and the breeze of consumable trees surrounding the forest castle—crowned with abundant flowers that can please anyone's eye. The next thing I knew was the rejoicing of the werewolf children on the ground of soft green grasses—the youth were affected by the impression, too.

Take Me Back: The Alpha's Regret

Take Me Back: The Alpha's Regret

The natural arrangement of the place hid me away from any other entities around. Finally, I transformed into my wolf as I felt myself already with enhanced senses. I took a deep breath before dashing to the wind to continue my journey. ******* The wind against my fur comes with a soothing feeling as I ran north. I was already running for three hours straight now and the night seemed to dive deeper as minutes passed by.

Melissa Holtzmann
Pretty good book with MANY ups and downs and new plot twists. Some loose ends never tied up, and a ton of incorrect pronoun usage in sentences or using the wrong character name that can make it hard to follow. Definitely want to see an epilogue to maybe close the loop on some side stories.
Bollygal
I loved the ending, but it was a bit rushed. I was hoping for some extra chapters, a bonus, or an epilogue. Is there going to be a book 2? I don't want to give anything away. But the ending seems incomplete. We need more, please!!!

Ugly Princess? Break the Spell, Fairy Goddess

Ugly Princess? Break the Spell, Fairy Goddess

Ruby’s hand clenched tightly together. Suddenly a powerful gust of wind picked up and her petals formed into the shape of a phoenix bird. Her power was enormous. It was swirling around her, and the ground was shaking beneath her. “Grandmother Willow, I will save you!” Ruby held out her hand, and commanded, “Kill them all!” said Ruby. Ruby’s eyes blaze in fiery.

The Wolf Who Chose Me

The Wolf Who Chose Me

Just true. --- The Scorched Trail As they moved deeper west, the world began to change. The cliffs rose jagged and sharp, like broken ribs clawing out of the earth. Trees stood without bark, their branches reaching not for sun but memory. Rivers ran slow and silver—not with water, but with echoes. Even the wind moved differently, curling around them like it remembered something it couldn’t speak. Velan knelt by one of the quiet streams, dipping his fingers in. His voice was low, barely more than breath.

A Vampire's Witch

A Vampire's Witch

Like Tiki. Willow shut her eyes and she focused on the element she felt she was closest to. Earth. She imagined a dense forest, such like the one that surrounded Miss J's cabin. The scent of the mossy soil beneath her feet. Purring interrupted the illusion and Willow's eyes fluttered open. A beautiful black cat rubbed against her legs, it's golden eyes staring through barely opened lids. She picked up the animal and let it curl in her lap, its purring vibrating against her thighs. "A black cat. Of course." Willow mumbled sadly as she looked around for another potential creature, but the others had given her distance. Roy walked over with two mugs of hot chocolate and a bag.
