Finding Willow

 My alarm was going off so I rolled over and turned it off. I heard my mother hollering from down the stairs. "Willow get up. Your going to be late." I pulled the blanket over my head and yawned. I knew I should've went to bed earlier but I was just starting to get into a really good book and I just couldn't put it down. My name is Willow Addison. I am sixteen and starting my junior year in high school. I have always been a bookworm I guess you can say. Not that I didn't have friends but I have just always been into my studies. I kept impecable grades and stayed out of trouble. "Willow Marie Addison don't make me come up there." My mother's voice rang out. "I'm up!" I yelled back. I slowly rolled out of bed and made my way to the shower. I was actually excited to get back to school I was just slow this morning. I took a quick shower and picked out my outfit for the day.  I woke in a cold sweat and the echo of my scream was still sounding in the cave. It was just starting to get light out and my fire had all but died out. I still was a bit out of it when I heard the steps coming twords the cave entrance again. Once again I backed up into the shadows and watched as the same young man appeared. He was a sight. I hadn't taken the chance yesterday to look at him because I was to worried he would see me. The man stood probably six foot. He had short blonde hair and from what I could see he had a nice build. He was muscular but not overly muscular. Today he had on just a black tank top and shorts. I could make out the hint of a tattoo on his chest. How he wasn't freezing I had no idea. He placed another bag by the entrance of the cave. He looked around and saw the containers from yesterday sitting by the fire pit I had built. Luke's POV... I still was trying to grasp everything that had happened in the last few weeks. From the moment Willow had entered our land I had a pull to her. I could feel everything she was feeling. She was scared and didn't know what had happened to her. I knew the answers to some of her questions but I couldn't just come out and say hey you're a wolf. No. She had to figure it out on her own. For some reason she was blocking out her transformation. My father had said that something dramatic had happened when she first shifted and that was why she was blocking it. I just wish I knew what had happened so I could help her. I also was very concerned about the creature I had seen almost attack Willow. I hadn't yet told my parents about it because I wasn't sure if I had seen it correctly. Who am I kidding? My eyesight is the best when I am in my wolf form.  Willow's POV... "Jesse!" My scream woke me again but this time I wasn't alone. "Who's Jesse?" Luke's voice sounded hurt as he sat at the end of my bed. I sat up sweat dripping down my face. I rubbed my eyes and then looked right into his. "He was a boyfriend I had back when I was in school. Something horrible happened to him." Was all I offered. I felt the tears sting my eyes as I tried to fight them back. I knew that he was dead but I just didn't know if I had killed him. "Do you remember what happened to him?" Damn I was hoping he wouldn't question it. "I heard he was attacked by an animal but it was after I left." The sting in my heart when I lied to Luke was almost unbearable.  Luke's POV... I have been on my own for three months now. I had followed Willow's scent as far as I could but then she made sure that I lost it. She was a smart girl for sure and it kind of made me laugh a little bit when I realized what she had done. Now though I was just searching every town I came across. I had just crossed over the Canadian border when her scent filled my nose. "Willow." I reached out hoping she would answer me but I got nothing. I followed her scent to a small town a few miles from the border. It seemed like a quiet little place to hide out at. It was just before dawn so I decided to wait for a few hours and then head into the town. I didn't have to wait that long to see her though. As I started to settle in under one of the trees her scent filled my nose again and strong.
