Sara and the Conqueror

Sara and the Conqueror

"Objectify you? Yvonne, you are my Right Hand. My most valued commander. What is this sudden nonsense?" She wiped aggressively at her eyes, furious that moisture was gathering there despite her pride. "It doesn't matter. The deed is done. Khalid came through for us. He faked the alchemical proof and convinced the Conqueror’s trackers. Rune believes the girl is dead. He’s pulled back his scouts to mourn. We have won... although the victory came at a hefty price."

Winning Her Heart Again

“ But luckily, I didn't give up. Even though I feel tired and hopeless, I still fight until my mother recovers, and I continue studying. That's why I'm so thankful for this opportunity to work with you, Ma'am Jaz. “ She said and smiled at me. Now I realise that our business is really important and that it could help so many people like Rhian. “ That's why I hired you as my assistant. You have this bravery and perseverance in working. I know I chose the right one. “ I smiled at her, and I could feel how happy she was. “ Why did you suddenly ask, ma'am?” She said, but I just shook my head. I told her to get back to work, and she did. Minutes later, a delivery guy was walking inside. I thought

The host cleared his throat, holding his breath for a minute, “And the winner goes to Mrs. Victoria Rossi the winner for the last three years in a row” I sighed, I hadn’t expected to win but it was still a huge disappointment.

Rejected by my Choosen Mate

Rejected by my Choosen Mate

I breathed, running my hands through my hair, “Fighting to the death isn't something to be toyed with. Would you kill your fellow man just to earn the title of a winner?” “I would do that a thousand times.” Jayden smiled, crossing his legs, “Everyone is only interested in the winner. Once the loser's dead, I'll get all the attention. Besides, we both have to settle this. There can only be one winner this time.” Hearing his words, I let out a loud chuckle. If this was about the last battle, then Jayden must have lost a screw in his brain. It was a fair fight. My pack warrior had emerged as the winner, but I guess he wasn't able to handle the shame of losing.

A Knight for Victory

A Knight for Victory

Arthur asked, leaning closer as he tried to peer at the page that she had opened. "I'm going to bid on Mr. September." Victory gave out a low appreciative whistle, wagging her eyebrows as she pointed at a photo of a hunky looking man, clad only in a pair of jeans that hung low on his waist, revealing hard abs and sculpted muscle. "I wouldn't mind him cooking for me." Victory continued, licking her lips lecherously as a mischievous smile appeared on her face. She read aloud what the winning bidder would be entitled to.

Great book and storyline. Written well would have given it five stars but there was no ending. It appears as if the author wants to add a sequel but this is a poor way of doing it and I will not be looking at more from this author. Such a shame because the writing is done well.

Hi everyone! This is my first book with GoodNovel and I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it. I’m almost half way through with writing the book as I don’t intend to write a long-winded novel. Let me know what you think of the book. Happy reading! xx F. A. R.

Frequently Asked Questions

The novel 'The Winner' is this gripping, almost cinematic story about a guy named Cliff who starts off as this underdog in a cutthroat corporate world. He's got brains but no connections, and the way he claws his way up the ladder is both inspiring and kinda terrifying. The real hook, though, isn’t just the corporate drama—it’s the moral gray areas. Cliff starts bending rules, then outright breaking them, and you’re left wondering if he’s still the hero or if the system’s turned him into another villain. The author does this amazing job of making you root for him while also dreading what he’ll do next.

What stuck with me most was how the book mirrors real-life hustle culture. There’s a scene where Cliff sacrifices his personal life for a deal, and it hits hard because we’ve all seen people (or been people) who’ve done the same. The ending’s ambiguous—no neat moral lesson, just this raw question about whether ‘winning’ was worth what he lost. It’s one of those books that lingers, making you side-eye your own ambitions.
