Standing proud in the spot where Zora Smith was standing, was a stark white wolf. He blinked and rubbed his eyes, trying to make the wolf return to it’s grey color that Kairos had last seen it at. But despite his efforts, Zora Smith was still a white wolf. No one had seen a white wolf emerge in years. The only other white wolf to emerge was the Wolf-Queen, Victoria Luna. As far as Kairos knew, Queen Luna didn’t have any biological daughters.

“But he’s no longer on this plane. We’ll get him back but not if you walk into this fight blind.” Lily hesitated, then nodded. “Okay. Let’s start.” The Queen smiled. “Good.” She turned and with a wave of her hand, the sanctuary transformed. The mist cleared to reveal an arena. A wide platform surrounded by floating runes and pillars of light. “Begin by summoning your wolf.” Lily blinked. “What?” “Your true wolf,” the Queen said. “Not just the shift. The soul within you. Dora, yes?” Lily looked at Callum nervously. He gave her a small nod.

"You're going to make him destroy his own pack trying to hold onto her." "Exactly," the Witch Queen said softly, lifting her chalice in a silent toast to the empty air. "We will use Veyra to feed him just enough false data to keep him looking the wrong way. And when the time is right, Damien will be forced to make a choice save the wolves who depend on him, or save the girl who won't even look him in the eye."
