A Mother’s War
She quickened her pace and as she turned toward the toilet, she pulled off her denim jacket and wig, and hurried into the gents’ toilet, knowing Robin would expect to find her in the ladies.
“You can’t go in there, that’s not the gents toilet,” an old woman in her late sixties said, stepping into Robin’s way.
“Get the fuck out, old woman.” Robin pushed her aside.
“Ugh!” the woman cried, clutching her back. She had hit the wall due to the force of the push.
“Tell me where she is, or I’ll kill you," he barked, moving closer.
“Who are you talking about? I didn’t meet an-y-yone here, the woman stammered, her voice trembling.
