She stopped running and turned to face them, power gathering around her like a storm. White flames erupted from her hands. Ice formed in the air. Light blazed bright enough to blind. The rogues fell, one after another, destroyed by power that seemed limitless. But the woman was crying. Even as she defended herself, tears streamed down her face.
