Chapter 1291 "I didn't, but Mom bought apple pies and prepared a lot of delicious food for you. "Yet you never came back on your birthday. Most were eaten by me in the end. I was full, so Mom gave the remains to Wonda in the neighborhood." "Who's Wonda?" He turned the wheel to the left. "Wonda is a white stray dog. It's beautiful and understanding. Mom and I like it very much. It gave birth to six puppies. Two were white and four black. Mom sent them to others," he burbled enthusiastically.

Elias pointed to the grassland again and said: “Actually, you are just a human, with no special powers. I just want you to learn some techniques for self-defense.” Lily nodded in agreement: "You're right. I'll listen to you!" Venn interjected between the two in a confident tone: “Then let me do it first.” Having said that, Venn immediately threw up his iron whip, slamming it into the grass. One of his whips caused it to peel off in a large patch. Lily was amazed at the strength of a child like Venn. And Elias nodded. “Venn, you did a great job! Allie adjusted her wedding dress and said excitedly, "The wedding is next week. Are you sure you can be my maid of honor?" I thought about it and replied uncertainly, "I'm not sure whether I can take time off." Then I poured out all the strange things happening at work, ending with a sigh. Some elderly people sat by the stream, enjoying the cool evening and discussing heartily. This wasn’t just a shelter or facility, it was a home. Elaina eventually stood frozen, feeling a little overwhelmed. “This is… unbelievable.”

she whispered, pulling back enough to see their shining little faces. “They’re alive!” Liona chirped, as if it were the simplest truth in the world. “Uncle G,” Kael added with a solemn nod. “We can take you.” Cheyenne’s vision blurred, tears spilling freely as the camp erupted in gasps, murmurs, and cries of disbelief. She looked up, meeting Tora’s wide, stunned eyes, then Serena’s, then Grammy’s. The impossible had just become possible again. Gasps rippled through the gathered wolves, witches, and phoenixes, the sound rising like a wave of disbelief.

The next two days passed in a blur as the she-wolves recovered from the first challenge. Notably we were down a few in number who hadn't fared well in the birthday party challenge and even one wolf who found her fated mate in a palace servant and they had reportedly ran away together. Good for them. I spent my days practicing, training, and trying to learn everything I could about pack politics and the Alpha I sought to impress. He had a charming personality and when he wasn't talking and checking in with all of people living on his grounds he liked song and dance. He kept his mother close along with the strange gentleman I had smashed into at the first challenge. I hoped I wouldn't have to
