It was the beginning of everything. After I’d completed my official patrol of the perimeter, which included barking at two suspicious leaves, marking three separate trees, and breaking up a shady-looking pigeon gathering, I permitted myself to play. There were other dogs in the park. I knew them. Well, most of them. Milo, the golden retriever, has no impulse control. Olive, the rescue mutt, always brought a squeaky toy and never shared it with anyone. And a rotating pack of doodle variations who never stopped moving and probably ran an underground treat exchange.

Chase grumbled with mild curiosity. "This is Chase. He is a German Shepherd puppy and the second member of the PAW Patrol." "Really?" His voice trailed off, clearly impressed. "Well, that's pretty nice.I have a dog, a real dog; his name is Ruru." "Woah! Really, Mr. Johnson?" "Yes." Tommy smiled, proud of his toy. "But mommy hates real dogs, but Chase here is a police and traffic cop dog and a super spy police dog." As they chatted, Amaya beat harder than ever. She tried to keep Tommy away from Chase, but the man kneeled down and took to her son like they were longtime buddies.

There's no denying she was very sick when Meagan and I fetched her as a child. I pull a large section of my hair in frustration this time. I really need to visit Sarn and his mate, Sierra. Our pack, Snow Creek, had taken over his own pack Everforest. Now, the remaining joined us and pledged their loyalty. It hasn’t been a terrible thing for them though. We didn’t have to kill anyone.
